Damn, it's weird how time flies. I remember watching the first few episodes back in April after finals, thinking about what an amazing summer I was going to have, and now when I'm here. It's September, I'm entering my last year of University, and the summer is over. It feels like it all went by so fast, but at the same time I look back on all the stuff I did and it feels like a life time. I don't know what this has to do with the show, but I feel like I can relate to the main themes surrounding this show. Nothing lasts forever, and sometimes it's just healthier to move on from things even if it means letting go of something or someone you love. That's what I think this anime was all about, and I can tell you that this was definitely anime of the season.

My god this was incredibly good and when they played the opening during the fight had me so HYPED ong๐Ÿ˜ญ but I wonder how haine’s eye went to Ushio back when the eye got separate from her body during Hizuru’s past?๐Ÿค” But I guess everything will be answered and loose ends will get tied up by the next episode, seems like a lot of ppl on here impatient as hell trying to figure out things that will be revealed next week๐Ÿ’€

just some explaination

if you all confused, remember this, i think in episode 5 where shide first appearance. he said, you had the eye from mother (aka hiruko). which is u can render time but u dont know how to use it perfectly. that why he need to die to loop but is it limited cuz shinpei cannot control how to loop without dying and cant control when to loop, maybe cuz he is a human. unlike ushio, she is a shadow that apparently can control the loop. cuz she is a part of haine. not hiruko okay. there is two, haine a little kid that is a victim of a shadow and hiruko, the mother of shadow who need to kill possibly everyone in the island so she can go back into her world. so remember there is a war right from hiruko memories shown in episode 23, i think that when hiruko change to haine and hide in the old clinic. then hizuru found her years later, become friend, then haine cannot control hiruko anymore cuz they found human again. then instead of hizuru, ryuunosuke die. then hizuru came at perfect timing. haine (the right eye) pop out and the data of ryuunosuke supposed to go to brain i think. but only arrived at the eye. so the data of ryuunosuke is in hizuru body. (idk about the brain thing tho). then haine disappeared. after that, maybe when ushio and mio cleaning the beach, that is when haine found ushio and copy her body. plus every data she had is gone. that why ushio is diff and can overcome hiruko. ushio just dont know that the original of her body is actually haine. basically haine that has no memories disguise as ushio which has memories. kinda hard to explain. then how she got haine eye in ep22, my theory is maybe some of haine memories in hiruko body appear when hiruko get cut off by mio in the cave. so, haine remaining memories and body came together inside ushio. that why hiruko just a baby in episode 23 and 24. cuz every data she get from haine already taken away then, let go back to episode 24, i will not say what happen in 25 cuz i read the manga but if you watch ep 25, then you will know why they do the ending of 24 like that. it like ep 24 is the ending, ep25 is a true ending. okay, so ushio did had the power to control time, which is can go back to the past. if you remember, episode 9, ushio can give data from past to shinpei and sou during shiori and ushio incident but she dont know how to use it, cuz she doesn't know. only ushio and shinpei and hiruko can transfer data, but not other shadow like mio. and if we go back to the shiori incident, somehow shiori (aka hiruko) can touch him, this is because shinpei can go to the past but he doesn't know cuz he cant control by will unlike ushio (from ep24). same as hiruko too but hiruko need the other eye which is shinpei eye (technically ushio eye) to loop and mess with time. but i guess she can mess with data not the real past. same as why shinpei can see ryuu and hizuru past, go back and see the whale memories cuz that is ushio doing. and plus, shinpei can touch haine (before everything happen) cuz he already master it, he can intefere with data like hiruko. so yeah. it is kinda long tho but if you read this u are gigachad. plus if shinpei can control this power, he be stronger than subaru. cuz he can just go to the past and kill subaru before he got the power

Final fight was awesome. OST wasn’t the best, I would’ve liked to have had the first OP instead of the second playing during the climax tho.

I knew Haine would be key in beating shide ever since they started sowing seeds of doubt between she and Shide several episodes ago. The odds were just too stacked against Shinpei and co.

That said, I think it’s very fitting that it ended up being regular Shinpei(with a little force pull from Haine), not a shadow or super powered version of Shinpei, but a normal human who takes down Shide. Seeing that cocky smirk turn into despair was so satisfying.

I’m interested in how things will wrap up next week since the climax is already over. Said ever since she died that no way hizuru is gone fr so I’m guessing we’ll get a happy ending with everyone together and alive. Just wanna see my baby mio happy

When ushio said it had been a crazy 3 days it was a wtf moment. Funny to think all the events have taken place within 3 days

tbh if they use first op that will be kinda ruined, cuz first op meant to be mystery and kinda chilling but sec op more shounen ish, more intense. so i get it why they use the sec op. same with ed. more mystery to in first ed, more sadness in sec ed

WHY CANT WE JUST SAY THIS SHOW IS BETTER THAN EX ARMS, OR RENT A GIRLFRIEND?? At least the MC isnt as shit like MC in rent a girlfriend or denji from chainsaw man (sorry tho but i hate denji, he just dumb and pervert man). animations is better than seven deadly sins in season 3. bruh why we cant appreciate anything that are decent. this show maybe not surpass re zero, steins gate. but damn. it is decent. not every villians fight need 10+ episode like fucking dbz. sometime realistic is the best. even i get tired if i watch fight scene that are 10+. like WHEN IS IT GONNA STOP???. so this is prob the best show that just show, bruh everyone weak. even though they had power. nothing like, "haha ik actually alive again" or "well well well you though i defeat you" fuck that bullshit villian stereotypes. if he die, he die. animation, who cares, u thino this is ufotable? mappa? this a fucking studio that made a fucking pokemon. give a chance. they only make this, first project that require death. fight scene, pokemon just some creature fight with creature. i still rate tgis below SG and Re0 but still this is decent tho, let just appreciate this. at least the ending much better than promised neverland right? it is still ok for 25 episode, which one big arc. like we more story like this. that doesn't have much character, so we can emphasize with the character more. i even appreciate the anime that just made fun of like remt a girlfriend or seven deadly sins. RaG maybe has shit MC but cute Waifu, SDS may have bad animations in s3 but getting okay in s4 and 5 and the story is good. maybe not ex arms tho.
but yeah instead of finding bad thing, find good thing first then explain bad things with heart, not hate. yes the animation in this a bit meh but it is decent, not like 15 tho woth is firee. the ending is weird but that will be explain in ep25 or i just say after this, so spoiler warning. the time shit, true time doesnt work in that realm, but the time you felt is still there, you still can count on 2 minutes but time still not move. it is like time freeze and only you can move. so nothing wrong why ushio said give me 2 minutes, and plus the dialogue, people say dialogue is meh, is it shide? just remember, shide is narcissistic bitch. no more comment.

oh yeah the spoiler shit, please skip if you dont wanna spoilers, already waning ya, so no hate comment about "bruh why spoil"

so remember when ushio like tell shinpei to take care mio and so on in the last ep24, that is not actually the first ep loop, NOT THE SAME LOOP. that is the first time he go to the island to visit ushio, not because ushio funersl, cuz timeline is changing, so from start, he act know shit that happen from ep 1-24 cuz he already had the memories given by ushio when she say take care of mio which is take care as a little sister in normal life, not in death or threathening situation. like he saying ryuunosuke to hizuru and stuff which is never be mentionon the boat. so the loop is not the same as the first we saw in first ep, and even mio brake is not cut off by mio shadow. cuz the loop is the same. so yeah, true ending in the ep 25. still dho one chapter for one ep.

So, will it be another one of those endings? MC loops back and everybody that had amazing and heroic deaths are alive again, but nobody except the MC remembers shit of what transpired?

Can't say it's my cup of tea, since it literally shits on the story so far and makes it all for nothing. What's even the point of the story if nothing had any actual consequence? Might as well be delusions from the protagonist as he was sleeping in Hizuru's breasts.

Oh, sounds good. I was already assuming all hope is lost, but it is true that there is still another episode to salvage this. Hopefully the ending will be solid, I'd hate for the series to drop in rating for me due to an unsatisfying ending.

yeah many people don't like the ending in ep24, the show not even done yet. so yeah there is act a solid ending for this show. when i read the manga at this part, i do be thinking the same shit, but as i go through more until last chapter, wow, solid ending

Shide is dead ! Hip Hip Hooray! That should have happened a few episodes ago.
The person had more plot armor than Shinpei, it's ok to have a strong antagonist but not that way as of being invincible.
Killing him was way too hard and his comebacks were annoying.

Show was much better when it still was mystery horror, the all out battles weren't really that engaging, also lots of gore.
The later loops were also hard to follow in my opinion or I should have paid better attention overall.

Ushio in swimsuit always has been cute and worked as mascot of the anime.
Shadow Mio also has been great, it's too bad there wasn't more screetime for her.

I don't really care about the ending now, but even an unrealistic happy end would have been fine for me.
We want to see a happy Ushio!

My favourite thing was the islanders accent.

tbh i do liking it, im not really fan of 10+ episode of fight scene, somehow i just want it to be over, it easy how to kill shide but still, i have a lot of satisfying cuz shide is dead. like somehow i hate the character and i feel "lessgo shinpei!! " and the conclusion isnt there yet, cuz ep25 will have a good explanation on conclusion

i dont say it is boring, if feel just more shounen ish. cuz the mystery already over amd we like, so that it. cuz we too fascinating by the mystery like "hmm what happen here". i do like the ending, kimda complicate but still not complicate. just mid. just show to binge watch act rather than waiting 1 week. i already read the manga and ep25 is a true ending i guess that is how i can interpret. but yeah the conclusion not finished yet, there is still one plot twist in the end that it is just to cute and such bittersweet ending

Sheesh, everybody is losing arms this week.

This was probably the best episode of the series. I was a lot more interested in the battle with Shide this week, plus he finally talked about his motivations.

Last episode will be the "True Ending" I assume. I'm okay with Shinpei and Ushio getting a happy ending. Their whole "star-crossed lovers" thing ended up growing on me.

nah not really tho, it is okay, it is decent. people had diff opinion bro, like i didnt like chainsaw man, cuz denji too stupid and suck a perverted, power too is stupid, story is generic like bleach, people nust like this cuz of animation and art. i mean i thing chainsaw man too overrated like demon slayer. i love show like this when it is kinda unique, no 10+ villians need to defeat, no need side character that is strong fight with other villian. while this show only focus on main character. i didnt say all chainsaw man are bad, or summertime are good. but people have diff opinion man, if they think this is masterpiece, it is theirs, not you. dont discourage people that never watch this okay. just say your opinion why this is not good, not say "why everyone like thjs show and called masterpiece" have a nice days

Am I the only one disappointed with Shide? He behaved like a bland and uninteresting antagonist in the last two episodes, was he always that generic? Also, his motivation is literally garbage. Honestly these last episodes has been the worst part of the serie in my opinion, I just dropped the score from 8 to 7 because of them. I guess it's because they were more "shounen-ish"

Yeah...I don't think so. Chainsaw-man and Mob psycho 100 season 3 are totally going to destroy this anime. Actually, I also liked shadow house s2 slighly more. But it's still top 5 of this year so far.
