Important setup episode. With any luck, it should be a rollercoaster ride to the finish.

I'm not sure whether the "everything's back to normal!" tone at the end of the episode was meant to underscore the fact that something is still not right with Chisato and she's putting on the happy act, or whether it's sloppy direction and we're meant to think it's all resolved.
Away from the things of man, my love, away from the things of man.

None of those drawings looked like Majima, but damn did Fuki draw that sketch? If so, wow. Takina’s looks like something I would have drawn in grade school and Chisato’s was def very manga like lol.

Didn’t expect Majima to have been connected to the tower incident. Little Chisato must have been terrifying back when she was using live rounds. Majima seems to be sending quite the message with that police station attack.

The girls almost getting busted by Mika was pretty funny. I can’t believe that udon excuse worked lol. And wow! Chisato in that dress! Damn, girl haha. Takina looked great in her suit too. What the heck does kabayaki taro mean? Kurumi was cracking up pretty hard over it. But I guess now Chisato knows about Yoshi, though I wonder how much she knows about Alan Children.

I like the chemistry between Chisato and Takina, but I like the little back and forths with Kurumi too. The Mizuki and Kurumi moments are fun as well. Mizuki was gonna snag herself a man at the bar haha. That dress looked killer though! She was literally glowing lol.

But man, what an ending. Majima’s one of these Alan Children too? That how he’s connected to Yoshi? Anyways, with that hack a success, shit is gonna pop off pretty soon.

I cannot fucking believe I didn't see it before. The absolute audacity

We have an action duo consisting of a blonde and a brunette with personalities to match and their boss is a gay ~black~ guy.

Shit me, is this meant to be homage or just imitation?

When shinji said "I'm counting on you Takina", suddenly I'm scared that was a red flag for Takina and Chisato.

I think this show not gonna have complex story because in this episode, nothing much happened for the plot. (This is already ep 7). I'm glad the dynamic still enjoyable.

I guess the next ep there will be flashback during the action...

Chisato's death flag couldn't be clearer after this episode. Isn't there a way to save Chisato without Takina as a collateral effect?

This episode was a clear context of what comes in the following chapters.
The highlight is that Majima seems to have a relationship with the Alan organization, and that he and Chisato have known each other before. It was a great episode. 10/10

P.D. Takina ate Chisato's entire cake.

He is obsessed with genius killer talent which should be Chisato, thats why Alan saved her. I dont think he is main villain but his decisions leads to a wrong side so far. Maybe later when he sees Chisato's happines he will change his mind a bit

Some things are better off untouched or unseen even, Why is Chisato so clingy when she upsets Takina can I see more of that

So Majima was the same guy who fucked that radio tower up no wonder roboy got all confused, Another cover up incident just how long can they keep this up

Takina got the big W this episode "bumping" to her ass, Chisato got dayum that dress is a killer don't you turn that back if she does it's a killer back, hope that Chisato will end up just fine after that and Majima is up to another devastating plan.

Thanks all for explaining what happened and theories as to what's going on. Not much action in this episode but more story-line/plot movement. So from I gathered, Shinji and Mika are acquaintances, Shinji works for Alan Institute (not sure if he's the president though), both Chisato and Majima have missions sent from Alan, Chisato may have been revived and/or made to be a killing machine/assassin and Takina may be used to force that out of Chisato, and Mika wants Chisato to do her thing but Shinji may be pressuring Mika to have Chisato go to the DA and/or become an assassin. Any other big points?

Now for more fun topics, Chisato just keeps being too cute, when she lovingly told Takina she didn't want to go to DA and also didn't want Takina to go back because then she would be lonely lol, Chisato looking amazing in that red dress/hair style combo, Takina getting a face-full of Chisato's booty (very nice), and towards the end Mizuki also looking fine in that mini-skirt (damn!). Hope that Chisato and Takina stay safe considering the flags.

I think Mika's already cut off this pressure. He does everything to let Chisato lives her life. Takina was for them a perfect person to help Chisato become an assassin but her attitude changed Takina. I guess fake heart gave Chisato another "talent", to help people and live your best life no matter the situation. It may be interesting in the future.

Yeah I think you're right about Takina being brought over to develop Chisato but instead it backfired (though I can still tell that Takina would still rather be at DA). That would explain why Chisato was chosen as a tour guide for that old guy in the wheelchair a couple episodes back and then having that assassin guy challenge her (chosen besides the fact that Chisato is such a friendly person with a great smile/personality, which was my original thought).

Man, this show really knows how to get your ass hooked. No action in the episode which is a first but we got a lot of info dump, so Majima was the cause of the radio tower incident, also he and Chisato already met way back then, also Majima's also an alan child.
Chisato also finally found the person she was looking for to the point of quitting the DA just so she can do that, sadly probably didnt expect that kind of outcome, like come on she only wanted to thank her benefactor yet got treated like that... I love how she handled the situation, despite finding out her father figure lied to her from the start and was still able to not just let that go but also calm Mika down for feeling bad about what he did, she also went back to work like nothing happened, like she is composed af, most main characters would flip out and get an entire drama arc for 2-3 eps but not this one, you just gotta love this girl!

So back during loli Chisato days, Majima was utterly helpless against her, yet this time around Majima almost got Chisato's ass, she would be dead if Takina didnt make it in time. Majima underwent through a hell of a training arc to go from "helpless" to almost "killing" Chisato then.

It seems alan inst. wants Chisato dead for not using her talent for the world after they gave her that life, so it seems Shinji see's Takina as the person that will help them change Chisato's policy of no killing? I got a bad feeling about that.

We are also half way in now, cannot wait for the conclusion of this series, please dont fumble the ending.

does anyone know what is the significance of the tower incident? Is this where Chisato first battled Majima? if so, is this all we know about that event?

Is it weird to say that I think Majima has a crush on Chisato? Like, if he cornered her, she will try to ask her out or something.

Chisato was FLAWLESS in that dress, that girl is always on point with her drip. Takina looked sharp in a suit as well. The story is getting really interesting. It seems the Alan group really want Chisato to become a ruthless killer, and are already eyeing Takina as a future Child. Still, our girls see through the bs and are all about the living for the time being, smiling and laughing until the Sun’s down. On a lighter note, Takina and Chisato have really been crossing each other’s boundaries, and without spoiling anything, Takina really got an eyeful of Chisato meanwhile Chisato didn’t make a peep...Yurification, yurification, yurification!

Kurumi's remarks just make me like her even more than before and her attempt to bluff her way into the bar was funny, too. Bonus points for the fanservice shot of her walking past the bathroom Chisato was having her slight brain meltdown as well. =P

Aside from that and how much of a bombshell beauty Chisato was in wearing that sexy red dress, this episode was pretty intense with its info dumps being the main hook instead of the action scenes. It seems that Chisato and Majima have some history together with the old tower incident and how, from his perspective, she looked far more deadly and ruthless. It makes more sense as to how she's changed her thinking and doesn't want to kill anyone now.

All the more reason to being more wary of Shinji and the Alan Institute as a whole. He sees Takina as having a promising future, probably as a way for hoping that Chisato will go back to the ruthless killing weapon that she used to be. No wonder Mika has been all stressed about it, the poor guy. =(

Either way, Majima's plans is for his group to strike the new tower next. I can see this series getting more brutal and bloody at this rate. Hopefully the comedic moments will stay, as well as the odd fanservice scene here and there.

Anime is an original, manga and LN will come later ( as I heard LN more focused on cafe life and a bit yuri[this I could overhear]) so we have info only from episodes. From episode 7 it looks like Tower incident was their first encounter and probably situation that changed Chisato. I don't think you will find more info about it than in episodes so far.

Ye he sees Takina as a way to reborn Chisato as a killing weapon but he is kinda blind because our Chisato is like a virus, infected and changed Takina into a human being. Maybe in last episodes Shinji will change as well and he will free Chisato :v

This has pretty easily and handily been the best series of the year for me thus far, including continuations of older (pre-2022) series.

I think it's the seamless blend between action/crime and political thriller/drama/comedy/some Slice of Life/etc. It feels so dynamic.

If they wanted to make it funny with that "date" they shouldn't show them meeting few episodes before, because it was obvious who Teach is gonna meet there. It was also obvious that Mizuki card got deleted and where she is going the moment she was shown in that dress... it was also obvious that this new tower is gonna be target since that green hair guy looked at the tower before... they give too obvious hints...
it is ok anime to kill time but nothing special.. good for the eye but they could show some more real life buildings... and the girls reactions are also nice

I wonder when they will put real bullets in Chisato pistol? maybe it will be Takina who do it? or maybe Chisato will be forced to use a real gun at some point to save someone? Takina?

This show, specifically this episode is messing my mind I can't lie. In a way, LycoReco is mindfucking me right now, of course in a sweet way but I don't want pleasure in that way, it feels disgusting to how my system works.

Excuse my weird introduction to this post but yeah, fanservice is here, from Takina getting a sniff of Chisato's ass, Yoshi GOING FOR THE KABEDON on Mika (WHAT THE FUCK), and Mizuki wanting to get laid...I get you girl. On the other stuff, Majima successfully tricked the DA and hacked into their system, I guess the main mission is that new tower huh. And yo Chisato at the end there took her Alan necklace and hid it, that's a gesture right there. But also why the hell is Fuki flustered and avoiding Mika when she got noticed by him...dude what the hell is up with this show?!!!

Also I would like to imagine that mangaka is resembling the mangaka that will adapt Lycoris Recoil...but on the other corner of my mind, he looks like Eren and if I'm putting her on Isayama's shoes, she's asking Takina if she will kill a villain....if you know you know, and because I told y'all it goes to show how this show has already corrupted me.

I'm loving it but I also don't know why I'm getting messed up by this show.

I felt this was a stronger episode than last week's. I'm enjoying all the build up around Chisato and Majima now.

I wanted to like the bad art gag more, but, if nothing else, I liked how they hung them up behind the bar. As if it was something to be proud of.

I'm sad that I've stopped loving this show, but there's something about Majima that is just too "OTT cartoon villain", and the once infallible DAs susceptibility to misdirection is getting tedious.

It also doesn't help that I despise the Alan Institute's ideology and Mika basically conceding that they own Chisato just because they saved her life doesn't wash.

I hope there's some other revelation coming that will take away the bitterness but at the moment I'm watching with my hackles up for too much of each episode.

Also, they need to stop with the older woman desperate for a man shtick already.

Yeah the DA's compitance is getting lower and lower since the subway incident. Like at this point emergency state should be declared in the city because every day these terrorists are not caught is a huge failure on the DA's part and innocent civilians have died already.
