Yeah, I mean, who doesn't? I can't wait to finally be through with Hunter x Hunter.

Yeah I stopped Natsume season 3 for now but I wouldn't say I got bored its more like I need a break and watch something else before I could continue it.

Longer series that have multiple seasons are easier to watch than the one that has a single season.

A common question for a shounen gal like me. Honestly, the amount of episodes does not bother. I just would not care. I just dont count them at all. If I do get burnout or if I feel like its too much, I do stop. Then I wonder how its gonna end up like or I suddenly miss a certain scene or miss a certain voice or that I would anticipate the next coming opening song so that get me started again.

I frequently get burnt out from watching a single episode these days.
I probably regret this post by now.

Damn that's such a problem for me. I really wish I was able to watch long series. I'm not interested in shounens at all but there's so much other titles that look so nice that I can't help but to give them a try... just to drop it after 25-30 episodes when all of sudden characters and story and setting etc become completely dull and uninteresting for me. Urusei Yatsura, Ranma 1/2, Keroro Gunsou, Touch, Cardcaptor Sakura, Utena etc. I've been torturing myself with first season of Sailor moon for 6 or 7 months and somehow managed to finish it. Same with Fushigi no Umi no Nadia despite the crappy filler it had. But these cases are real wonders. Situation with Touch is most frustrating for me, since I was returning to it over and over again just to drop it after 87 episodes (out of 101).

Wish there were more long series like Working, Nodame Cantabile, Kaminomi and such, which are divided into seasons.

Yes, sometimes, but in general I like the series I watch.

Yess. I understand this. This is why I just read the manga.

The good old 24 episodes hits the sweet spot. But the new format where they split these 24 episodes in part 1 having 12 episodes and part 2 the second half of 12 episodes is BS. I don't like that at tbh. I remedy it by waiting, but still it is annoying.

Now I have seen longer shows and I don't mind much more episodes if it is something I like. But I don't like filler episodes, recap episodes and episodes where they retell you an old episode, but from another perspective, inserting yet another small detail.
Kingdom Come Deliverance II GOTY 2025

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is another worthy GOTY contender I tip my fedora to Sandfall Interactive, excellent debut gentlemen!

Yes, unless the longer series is called Code Geass, I can watch R1 and R2 back to back and have a great time all the way through.
Who are you and why do you show your hostility towards a complete stranger whom you've not once spoken with before. Are you seriously asking to get blocked? Well, if that's what your intent is; to tempt me into throwing hands with someone as lowly and insignificant as you, then i may grant your wish provided you articulate yourself a bit better when trying to spite a person of my wavelength.

it depends on the content, if it's something one likes then even if it has 50 episodes you can finish a lot in one sitting versus a really boring 12 ep episode anime

Yea, it's definitely normal. I'm fond of watching long-running shonen anime and I get it from time to time.

Not necessarily, but the last time I watched a 12-episode series/season, I stopped at episode 11 for no good reason.

Before, I liked watching longer animes. But now I can't even finish 24 episodes.

At first I can only enjoy episodic long runners but after binging a few live action serials (which have longer runtimes per ep), I changed my mind. I think it's just a matter of finding the right one

Hell no, its easier for me to finish animes and mangas that are very long rather than shorter ones. They keep me binging and are more entertaining by a margin.
