It's just arrogance. Given the history between Upper Moons and Hashiras, it's safe to say the Upper Moons have a reason to be confident. But Gyutaro was cocky, which comes from overconfidence. And like, he has no reason to not be really. He's slayed many Hashira before, why would this one be any different? I'm sure he had his close calls too, but what is he supposed to assume if Uzui's heart already stopped? This "not going in for the 100% kill" thing is done in a ton of media, and i think it's most fitting when the cocky one clearly thinks he is above his enemy. Take Jotaro vs Dio for example (if you've seen JoJo's amyways), he had no real reason to waste 7 seconds of his precious time stop to find a fucking road roller, he could just crack Jotaro's skull in with za warudo when Jotaro can't even move. This troupe is kind of an action cliche at this point, and i think Gyutaro vs Uzui is actually one of the better example because of how much Gyutaro thinks he is above Uzui. Same with Dio vs Jotaro (and ROAD ROLLER DA is fucking hilarious cmon). There are problems with this episode but this ain't one of them.

In the mnaga muzan said daki was the biggest hinderance for gyutaro if daki wasn't there distracting him he could have killed uzui and tanjiro and gang so he wasn't stupid he was just distracted by daki and about her well being kinda

Gyutaro ( dakis bro) had a good chance to kill Uzui while he collapsed after getting stomped and his hand cut off from his body. Why Gyutaro is taking half measures all the time? Why not slitting uzuis neck wide open?
He also did the same with inosuke.

So what is your thoughts on the intelligence of gyutaro (dakis bro ). Anyone felt like gyutaro got nerfed in the recent episode like me?

Gyuutaro is fighting uzui fast. After uzui had been severely injured and realized his heart had stopped why he had to bother chopping off his head. He had more important business, the gyuutaro quickly went after inosuke and stabbed him. After the Daki attack that destroyed the site, the gyuutaro seemed to be looking back. Judging by the gyuutaro's nature rather than looking after the dead, he'd rather enjoy his zenitsu buried in ruins and have fun with tanjirou. I don't think anything's stupid
