I'd check imdb score after 24 hours. It's always like that: we begin with mindless haters and fans, then score is balanced by those who actually watched an episode.

Imagine normies saying: "Peaky Blinders is mid and overhyped. Just another typical crime drama show. Breaking Bad is much better lol.".

Well for 8.5 is a really good score. But like people have been saying just haters review bombing. I've learned that with anime it's very very hard to take any score that you see with an anime seriously. When it comes to fans of anime they're extreme. They're more like Stan's. So something that might just be okay or good like a 6 or 7 extreme fans of the show will over react and give it 9s and 10s this leaving the show with a very high score that in my opinion doesn't deserve. An example of this for me is Re Zero. The show just isn't good to me. Like at all but the fans of that show are very very Stan like and they'll rate the show highly on some god tier anime level when it's just not to me. There's also haters of anime. And in anime haters are also very extreme. They will review bomb an anime simply out of hate. It's very hard to go on mal see a highly rated show and go "hmmm this seems good" when in reality it's just the stans of that show giving it a ridiculously high score that it doesn't deserve.

I don't usually rate individual episodes for shows on IMDb unless I really hate it.

If I like a certain title, I only rate the title and not bother to rate each episode.

Don't really care too much about the ratings anymore but that is definitely surprising, considering episode 1 of part 1 got a 9.5/10, and honestly imo this episode was leaps and bounds better than that one. Weird as fuck

I don't know the ending but i know that a lot of people hate it, to me this episode was good, especially because the CGI looks far better than it has ever been and there was no censorship, so surely just manga readers rating it 1/10 because of the ending, while the episode itself was good

I think it's a combination of manga readers aaand maybe.... Just maybe demon slayer fans?? Bc with attack on Titan dropping and demon slayer still going there's no doubt that aot is going to take a huge chunk of attention away from DS. But that's just my guess. I have no doubt though that manga readers are most likely a huge chunk of the review bombing though. Because the book readers of the Witcher reviewed bombed the second season meanwhile people who didn't like the books and critiques loved the show. So yeah manga readers definitely.
