Don't know if this matters too much, but one question I currently have is: how are they able to replicate the personalities of those they are inhabiting so easily? Because surely if they start acting different from their host, that will be noticed by those around them and will surely change up something in that timeline. Or maybe those around them simply do not care that they are acting differently? Or perhaps once they inhabit their host, they automatically gain their personality as well. After all, he did say that they would also share memories, so maybe their personality is incorporated into them as well. Or maybe the other dude is just so freaking intelligent that he is able to deduce their personality from a photo, and is feeding lines into his bro and telling him how to act. Perhaps the personality thing isn't too important- overseer dude is probably just telling him what to say in order to most effectively manipulate the answers out of their targets, with no regard to how their host would actually act. Maybe I missed in it the first episode, but is Guang Lu able to see himself parts of the future and past without Xiaoshi going in the photos himself?

Like when they enter these photos, are they their OWN SEPARATE time line, or are they actually going into the past/future, which will affect the main timeline? Like if they're going into just their own separate segment, they can screw up as much as they want. But if it's the actual main timeline, just the slightest misstep of wording could cause a butterfly effect to WORLD DESTRUCTION or something.

Because she straight up told asked her what that ingredient was, and the other lady just simply said that she already knew what it was- basically just shrugging it off like it wasn't odd or anything. I guess at that point she still wasn't aware she was using the flowers... but you get the point. What if she acted differently than she was expecting? Maybe I'm thinking too much into this, but this does seem like an anime where it wants you to think a little.

Either way, if it actually is a plot hole meant to be looked over, I'll look over it. It certainly isn't that big of a deal that it is hindering my very real enjoyment of this in any way. I'll just focus on what's thematically important in the moment, and wait for any explanations they might give us along the way. I'm just sad they didn't go through with the lady and the tramp moment. ;(

Those must've been some damn good noodles if he wanted to go back in time just to try them again. And I love how just that simple thing lead to the climax of this episode, so well done. Love the musical scores they play at the end. But now they know the secret ingredient... maybe they are really professional and will just keep it to themselves- but will still eat it like they did at the end lol

Was trying to remember what this reminded me of, and I just remembered, it's just like the game Life is Strange. If I remember correctly, she also had the power to enter the times that certain photos were taken.

I hear the subs that were given while this was airing weren't so great, and I think those are the ones I'm watching right now. But it doesn't really bother me. Just as the general idea is conveyed I can still be in the moment.

The place shown at the ending of the episode truly reminds me of the movie Flavors of Youth. By the way, great first two episodes so far!

Lu Guang (white hair) his power is the ability to see into a photo the moments after it being taken (not too sure on being able to see the past too). Cheng Xiao (black hair) can only possess the photographer if they themselves are the subject and while possessing them, Cheng can feel their emotions/physical condition. You can see this in ep 1 when he possessed Emma and started acting weird when going to the Pres's office. Lu Guang who can see the future simply tells him how to act in order to keep the timeline intact. The people probably just pass off the weirdness as stress or something and Lu Guang tries to make sure Cheng does not take any action that ends of changing the future
Not the greatest of riches, the warmth of my family, the tender embrace of a lover, or the offer of continuous success could ever triumph over all the yaoi I could ever enjoy.

This is boring, given the hype I thought it would be some interesting mystery solving or something by going to the past but this just seems to be episodic and uninteresting.

this episode was such a nice change from the previous one. I was actually really glad and happy it didn't go down the same route and instead ended on a happy note

the character designs of the 2 main guys is really good in my opinion, they look so handsome. just felt like pointing that out

Very good. I kept expecting the worst, and it still turned out a little emotional... but it was a happy ending

Hope it keeps it up. I also wonder if there's a larger, underlying plot to all this

I like how the lesbian relationship was depicted. It was really interesting. I will deff have to read mahua(?), I just like the whole animation of the anime so far and the concept of slice of life and body switching special powers used for the investigation, the whole business behind it. Every depiction of queer relationship warms my queer heart so far.

I'm surprised more people aren't watching this show. This episode had a happy ending, so completely different from the last episode. It's sad that the red haired was the one that showed the other girl the secret ingredient but completely forgot about it. Instead, she held a long grudge for no reason. The black haired girl also said that she should know what the ingredient should've been. At least things ended well. Hopefully, they rebuild the brand and run a wholesome shop instead. I'm liking this show so far, its pretty interesting and I like the relationship between both friends.

Liked this episode much more than the first since there was no cheap deaths... was genuinely clenching my ass the last few minutes waiting for a potential twist like the first ep but it never came. So far I really really like the show. As others have said the animation/art is lacking, but the story and voice acting more than make up for it imo.

Woah, I kinda expected for this series to be episodic because Emma's story was a concise one. Anyways as of this episode Qiao Ling delivers a mysterious brown envelope to Cheng Xiaoshi, setting the stage for an intriguing mission. As Cheng Xiaoshi delves into the details, he humorously questions the client and learns about the enigmatic figures of Yu Xia and Lin Zhen. The playful banter between Cheng Xiaoshi and Lu Guang adds a lighthearted touch to the episode, providing a welcome balance to the unfolding mystery. Entering the body of Yu Xia, Cheng Xiaoshi and Lu Guang embark on their investigation, meticulously searching for elusive clues. Meanwhile, Yu Xia and Lin Zhen share a heartwarming moment, engaging in friendly conversation and enjoying a meal together. The scenes are filled with warmth and camaraderie, offering a brief respite from the intensifying mission. However, the plot thickens as Cheng Xiaoshi encounters difficulties in finding the much-needed clues. Despite the setbacks, Qiao Ling provides Yu Xia with a progress update, keeping the tension high as they navigate the twists and turns of the mission. Cheng Xiaoshi's determination is tested as he receives more photos, only to come up empty-handed in his search for answers. The turning point arrives when Lin Zhen announces her decision to depart, leading to a disagreement that injects a dose of conflict into the narrative. Yet, amidst the turmoil, Cheng Xiaoshi has a breakthrough revelation: the secret ingredient. This pivotal moment sets the stage for an exciting sequence of events as Lin Zhen takes her leave, embarking on a taxi ride that holds unforeseen significance. With the discovery of the elusive seasoning, Cheng Xiaoshi's excitement is palpable. Qiao Ling conveys the team's findings to Yu Xia, intensifying the anticipation for the final resolution of the mission. As the episode draws to a close, Cheng Xiaoshi contemplates the future, offering a thought-provoking suggestion to Yu Xia regarding their business aspirations. The reconciliation between Yu Xia and Lin Zhen adds a satisfying resolution to their evolving relationship, leaving a sense of closure and fulfillment. The final scene is heartwarming when Cheng Xiaoshi and Lu Guang relish a shared moment, savoring the noodles that have become emblematic of their journey together. This conclusion leaves me eagerly anticipating the next installment, eager to embark on another thrilling mission alongside these engaging characters.

@Maou_heika Those are exactly my thoughts...

I find it funny how people nowadays try to label normal friends as lesbians, as seen in the comments.
