On Funimation one of the episodes is labeled 5.5 what is it? Is it a recap or some filler special thing?....

I'm grateful for the existence of episode 5.5. After episode 5, I was emotionally drained so 5.5 was nice and fluffy and perfect.

Episode 5.5 is a special for the Chinese community, also at the end there, it's actually talking about the photo studio advertisement, they only used real life pictures as a reference and in the same time posting out the beautiful memories of people supporting the new animation studio during the process of making the donghua.

yea but the nice "cried like a baby" right? (´｡• ω •｡`) Like, I'm so happy it ended well. Unlike episode 5 which was the real "I am emotionally wrecked and cannot stop this flow of tears, help me please".

It's filler. Isn't connected to the main story and is supposedly some kind of funny gag episode because of the irony at the end.

help! I couldn't understand the timeline of this episode... what year is supposed to be the present? I assume the photo was taken in 2003-2004 maybe... Because phones like that didn't exist before 2003 so, in order for them to look that old, the couple that wanted to get married should have been in their 30s when the photo was taken but they looked much younger😫

Oops, I was wrong. Episode 5.5 is between episodes 2 and 3. I heard that it is the original episode 3, but the production team moved the

arc up to align it with a memorial timing.
