As for classification by "style", that's an incredibly hard test to apply because even within anime (and I do mean Japanese anime) itself there are so many different styles... It's like how Japanese don't really consider "california maki" a real "sushi". It's some sort of weird emulation and they appreciate emulation is a form of flattery, but they'll never really consider it sushi. |
