| Sooner or later, it was supposed to happen. It's finally the time, Guts beats the hell out of Griffith and goes away without any glory. It doesn't change too much for him, but for Griffith it's a relevant loss. Guts "was" someone he owned and he can't accept his freedom. His dream started to crumble in that moment. The scene with the princess is great and scary, she was a tool for him, but this wasn't calculated, so it's a big mistake and Griffith is the reason of his own downfall. |

| What an emotional episode ahhhhhhh.. the level of drama in this story is just beautiful.. I couldn't help replaying the scenes.. Corkus, Judeau, Guts talking about what is it to dream, and follow one's dream.. loved it. I love how unselfish Judeau and Corkus are, they only talk about dreams, without even so mentioning that they need Guts because he's good warrior.. I love how Griffith's feelings towards Guts is depicted in a blurred way.. he wants Guts as he's a valuable warrior, but he also loves Guts....... he does! If we go by this one stand-off between Guts and Griffith, it is clear that Guts is invincible.. "You are going to be alright. It's like you've stumbled over a stone in the street...." .. Guts has a beautiful heart :'( Despite always being under control, calm and composed in every situation - no matter how threatening, after losing Guts, Griffith lost control over himself - shows the influence of Guts on him, whatever the reason may be - love/friendship or ambition or both.. I feel bad for him really.. the eclipse wouldn't have happened had he stayed by Griffith's side :p |
