What i find strange is some people who are members for a long time and make just one post(and usually to say they hated something) and don't post again. And i also read comments of episodes even when i don't post. Welcome on MAL rainji. Now as for the episode. I thought it was good. I have no problem with it and Darker than Black really seems to be the top of the current running anime. Didn't really feel sorry for Nica since he over did with his stupidity. Yes you love her but sometimes you have to realize when it's not working instead of throwing your life like that. And i'm happy that police woman is back i to the game. I really like her. Not to mention than she is from the few grown women in anime that i find sexy as hell. (usually grown anime women are worse that school girls. It's an anime phenomenon). Hei isn't that badass with out his powers but i believe that the fact that he didn't knew he lost them had a part in it. If he knew he would have been better prepared and would have kicked ass a lot better. As for the few scenes with naked people that people object. I believe there is nothing wrong. It's obvious that there not thrown there as a purpose but just as something that happens. And it's true. People take baths or take there close of when they are wet all the time. Heck they event walk naked in the homes or wherever. So why be annoyed when you see something like that in an anime. Why does your brain always have to go to the "they are throwing fanservice again"? I didn't exactly get what Suou's ability is. Materializing things? Or just that rifle. Or maybe something else? And Mao is confirmed to be in that little squirrel. By the way am loving the OP more and more as i hear it. Now that i heard it again it really sounds awesome. Especially if you hear the whole song. |

| I wonder who and how they managed to restore Mao. His memories being outside his body means that all the data constructing what we know as Mao was stored on Syndicate's server. With a bit of meddling the external party could have transferred his consciousness into another body. Now, Hei asks if Mao is with CIA and he doesn't answer... So who exactly restored Mao? >.> Hei's powers are (I hope) only suppressed. If Suou got all of them, the star wouldn't have disappeared. This was originally Pai's star and it survived the transfer of her powers into Hei. Guess we'll get more info when we get to know whether a new star appeared for Suou. (And yup, she looks half-moratorium to me too.) Kirihara got exiled? Did I miss something? It's weird how Kirihara's friend, who works in the stargazer laboratory, waves her off when she inquires about BK201's star disappearing. You'd think the science guys would be thrilled and the first to know about it. Oh, and Kirihara has a VAIO laptop :D |

| Well, I don't think there's much else for me to say. I liked the episode despite the magical girl sequence almost everything having to do with Suou. I'm getting into all the factions vying for Shiron. I think it's the most interesting thread going on. I also like the team of contractors pursuing Hei. |

| they really are killing off characters faster than you can say darker than black. was it only me that got the feeling that the magician maybe have a liiiiiiitttle chance of surviving? because he was talking about the human in a magic box disappearing i just got the feeling that he might have done something under the blanket as we didn't see his face getting crushed. or maybe i'm just in denial mode as i wanted to see more of his powers. :( |

I think it'd be a little more balanced if she's just borrowing weapon materialization from Pai through Hei. Also, reminder: Hei was in the Heaven's Gate war as a human, and managed to kill a bunch of contractors with his little tether thing and knives. I don't think he's just going to fade to mentor mode, I think he'll still fight as well. Also, 'bout his coat and such... I think he's concealing it for now while they're trying to get to Japan. His mask got lost though, I hope he's got a spare somewhere. I wonder if his coat is still bulletproof when he doesn't have contractor powers. I wasn't sure if it was a side effect of his powers or if it was built that way... |

| Mao squirrely confirmation accompanied to upbeat techno music. LoL!!! I'm not sure what to think about this series now. I was loving it, but this episode certainly isn't one for the books, unless that book is how clutter a story in one episode. Needless to say this ep. leaves a lot of questions already mentioned to be answered. I wasn't too thrilled with Suou becoming a contractor and then her power was to summon weaponry. Of course the opening kinda gives this part away, but you don't have to be a contractor to carry an anti-tank rifle, but you do have to strong. Hope Hei's powers come back. Plus I was actually kind of enjoying the new scenery. Wonder how it will feel back in Nippon. The whole Kirihara/detective love interest arc in the last series just wasn't that great IMO. I hope she's next on the hit list. Oh wait they're mostly just killing contractors important to the story right now. Looks like we will have to sit through her bumbling through the information to get the bottom of things while all the contractors die. I'm Curious to see how the next episode is going to turn out now at least. |

Kinda rules him out, I think. But I do agree that it's similar in materializing crap from nowhere. We'll have to see. I need to see the next episode just to see whether I'm correct or not, lawl. Also, glad that it was the coat being bulletproof, and not his powers. That way he'll be defended from guns which puts him a step over the average soldier. |

| What a nasty way for Nika to die. He clearly wasn't thinking straight when he headed to Tanya a second time. Love is blind? Hooray for Mao being alive. He's much cooler as a cat though. Those green Russian trains. They even look like the trains I rode when I was there. Seeing as many of us like watching subs because we like the authenticity of watching a show in its original language, I agree with LenaleeMelodee - the Russians should be speaking Russian. It's the same beef I had with Nodame Cantabile (live action) series when they had Japanese actors wearing blonde wigs to portray Europeans. It was plain cheesy. Well at least they are writing in Cyrillic. I'm enjoying seeing how many letters I can still recognize. However, it could take awhile as I keep thinking "Ya nye znayu." Damn, that looks so much cooler in Cyrillic than spelled phonetically. @ Hei_And_Ed_Lover - ooh, I didn't notice that a star didn't appear, so yeah, that would make sense that Suou got some of Pai's powers. And if BK-201 just disappeared in the sky, it's only a matter of time before it reappears. Hooray for July/Suou teaming up. Good teamwork. Hei needs to lay off the vodka. Man, Ruski vodka is REALLY strong. My stomach is cringing at the mere memory of it. |

| overall a cool episode with pretty cool soundtrack and badass moments, but i really disliked fanservice moment of a nekkidness, blushing, blah etc, as well as that that girls (heck, i still dunno her name, what was it again?) ability is kind of like magic girl transformation, and her weapon appears just like that from her inside or somethin o.0 i was a bit wtf on that one tbh, i didnt mind the power triggered by anger however, all in all hei still needs to shave, but he can keep the long hair.. ..oh i forgot to ramble about mao! yuuu now he's that squirrel, so hes actually alive! yay yuhuu! thats cool, anyhow it still cant replace good old cats mao place in my heart ='< |

Hei is still a contractor, because he was able to see the spector (sp?) which was fallowing them (unless he knew about it's presense when Suou asked him about it...) so I was thinking that his powers are still there, he just can't use them anymore... | Hm...Hei, sniper(sorta), talking animal, and doll. Yep, looks like things haven't changed, except for the people who is the sniper and the doll. Besides that, we got the crew back...I mean, last season, there was Hei, Huang(sorta sniper), Mao the talking animal, and Yin the doll. Now we got Hei, Suou(sniper), Mao(animal), and July(doll) Poor Nika, I thought he would've tagged along for the ride. Ah well, his loss for saying "Let's go home together". Dude, the girl already made bugs swarm you, but let you live. All you had to say was "Let's go home together"? Well, I guess there's only room for four in the "Hei Crew"...Too bad, at least he didn't die in his first episode like most of the characters. Well, am I the only one who thinks Hei looks much more badass with that beard and long hair? |

| I dont know if its been said already or not, but ive noticed from last season, it was said that by Dr. Shroeder (spelling?) " Hei is capable of granting contractor abilities to an ordinary human" So that probably better understanding why Suou is now a contractor... and maybe why Hei is outta "gas". |
