Everyone, I'll GREATLY appreciate it if you don't post spoilers even if they're vague:D
Please let people see by themselves how events will turn out. Have seen some guys getting blatantly spoiled today.

This was the least hype episode in a while, but it was still solid. It’s nice to see MC has some power now that there was a 1 month jump ahead. Looks like it will end up being him vs the bullied kid at the end of the first cour. Also RIP blond sensei, no way he wins that fight.

I've complained about the power system before but how does curse energy make Nanami's power. I feels like 'because curse energy' is used to describe a lot of random powers in this show

Also I paused on this gem

Most of Jujutsu sorcerers use cursed ENERGY for cursed TECHNIQUES. As Gojou explained in ep 6, "electricity -> electrical appliances". Yuuji is using pure cursed energy because he doesn't have innate talent found in jujutsu shamans (although Gojou did say Yuuji's body would learn Sukuna's skills in the future). Cursed techniques don't have to be power beams or slashes or sth physical, lots of them are actually "conceptual" (like Cursed Speech of Inumaki, 7-3 of Nanamin).

Yeah but what I am talking about is how does curse energy make up a technique, it seems that cursed energy can make anything happen

Nanami is one of my fav characters for sure, especially thanks to his relatability. "Work is shit." "Finding more fallen-out hair on your pillow... The accumulation of those little despairs is what makes a person an adult."

Gotta love the Juju strolls at the end. Feels refreshing and adds some new content x the manga.

Also, gotta appreciate the spin Akutami put on the trope of explaining your own techniques by making it into a contract where your technique becomes more powerful by doing so.

So is the new guy an antagonist or protagonist? Judging from the op he looks like he’s going to be joining Itadori and them, but judging from all that we’ve seen from him he’s heading towards an antagonist.

Amazing episode though. Made me chuckle a pretty good amount of times. The new character introduced is another wonderful addition to the colorful cast.

Oh yeah, that's why lots of techniques are conceptual. They store a predetermined phenomenon, not necessarily physically intervening with other people/things. "Can make anything happen", as you said.
Shamans manipulate the flow of cursed energy in their bodies to form cursed techniques.
Overall, JJK cursed system has lots of nuances, and they open up only from time to time, letting us speculate and then be amazed over how smart and imaginative the mangaka is.

It's only been a month and Itadori has improved that much... dudes got so much potential, as Nanamin pointed out. I'm so happy to see Nanamin animated; I love his personality and that cursed technique is hella awesome!

Seeing what Mahito did to those students and then getting the in-depth explanation from Ieiri about the modified humans really makes you realize how horrific he is as a Cursed Spirit. The other three are pretty powerful but Mahito is particularly terrifying imo

Oh so it's finally here, and Junpei is here MAPPA did a good job adapting Junpei and the voice actor is what exactly I imagine it to be.

Nanami is also here, he wrecked those cursed as for Itadori his skills has improved really well.

Can't wait for Nanami vs Mahito looking forward to the animation.

Drop. Mediocre adaptation and mediocre is too small for the terrible job they're doing

This is one of those examples where manga is just better.

Unnecessary censorship, lame soundtrack, awful redesign of the characters especially in Mahito and is transmutations  and as I already mentioned in another post, the manga is superior in all aspects Gege art really knows how to transmit a grotesque atmosphere.

Because The anime  opting for stylized designs and  bright colors has lost the characteristic seal of grotesque designs with dirty look.

About Mahito, horrible and terrible job in the voice acting, who within the 9 circles of hell thinks it is a good idea that mahito sounds like a Shota, Is this an attempt to catch Fujoshi public?

I'm really loving new guy Vincent Bold Nanamin!
Humans turning into those creatures is truly frightening!

This anime is amazing, I've loved all episodes so far.

And btw Gojou, my guy, you look way too hot with that "chill look" and it's kinda distracting. Please stop. Thanks.

they look disgusting af but idk if it’s a “horrible” way to die. Maybe it felt like they were overdosing on drugs. An actual horrible way to die is to be boiled alive

Well, that's my opinion, in my opinion, the way the three of them died deserved to be called "horribly"

Better than last week’s episode.
Loved the darker tone and aesthetic from this episode, unlike last week’s ep which was lighter colored for the most part. Definitely hope this artstyle continues.
Dang, Mahito looking fine— also those other three boys in the theater got what they deserved.
Definitely intrigued by Yoshino and Mahito’s dynamic(yaoi??) and wonder what direction it will go...
Hair-down Gojou was a great look!
One of the (human)curses looked like CG Envy from FMAB! Damn that was pretty cool.
Hyped for next weeks episode, looks like Yuji will finally confront Yoshino.

The episode opened really great, without any context. This episode had some new characters who seem cool. Junpei was interesting and Nanami seems weird (in a good way). The animation looked great, as always. The characters' hairs look especially fluid. The OP was also slightly different, which was cool.

The new voice actors seemed really appropriate for the characters, there was some great sound design, and the music was extremely fitting.

The show was relatively dark from the beginning, but this episode introduced some more elements reminiscent of horror movies. There were some really interesting worldbuilding and the origins of the curses were so cool. Concerning the ending, I'm guessing they will test if Junpei can see the curses, and I have a feeling Yuji and Junpei will become friends, considering the preview and the opening.

Nanami and Aoi Todou were added to the picnic scene in the OP.

Nanami is a caring adult, taking care of young ones before thinking of his own safety. And he's gonna solo fight Mahito next episode!!!

Gojou-sensei with sunglasses and hair down. Gojou-sensei and Yuuji are perfect match, both with massive energy. Gojou-sensei pestering Nanami is so hilarious.

The animation of Yuuji using cursed energy is cool af!

Where are those complaining about censorship at now huh?

Really great episode though, I already like Junpei and Nanami. It's interesting to see Junpei learn about curses from Mahito and Junpei is basically the type of person Mahito was born from.

Nanami's introduction was hilarious, that was probably the most I have laughed in this show so far. Nanami and Itadori's fight with those human curses was awesome though, I like Itadoris divergent fist.

Can't believe I only noticed now that Nasa and Itadori has the same VA damn. Next episode preview looks hype, Nanami vs Mahito.

Tsuda Kenjirou is in so many shows this season Jesus, he's everywhere. Not that I am complaining his voice is awesome.

Yuuji is finally showing some skills, even tho he can't control the cursed energy perfectly yet, he can use it as extra damage basically, that's insane!

The others still don't know that Yuuji is alive, can't wait man!

Nanami looks pretty badass and for sure a guy that knows what to do.

Next eps will be epic, can't wait!

Nanamin is relatable, work is sht, everything is sht, so might as well choose something i do well.

I found it very interesting how Mahito is a curse emerged from humans and he can transfigure humans into something that's like "curses"

Pretty interesting episode overall. Already liking Nanami's character and Mahito seems to be a rather intriguing antagonist so far. I have a bad feeling about Nanami going after him on his own tho.

Very good episode. Nanami and Itadori are out to solve the death of three people in the theater. We are now introduced to Junpei which had a very cruel past. And because of the deformed bodies of the ones that bullied him, he is now interested on Mahito's identity and (hopefully not) likely will be an apprentice to the cursed stitch man.

Itadori shows his powers which was pretty cool. And just like Nanami said, he has room to grow. Next week, we'll have a face off of Nanami and Mahito. And hopefully Itadori and Junpei will be friends. Also new changes in the OP. Gojou has his eyes revealed. And Nanami and Toudou are included in the picnic art.

This episode is also giving me my new profile avatars. Jujutsu Kaisen's art is very great, it's an ideal choice for some to screenshot the scenes and make it their own avatar. That's just my opinion...

i kinda agree with the manga is superior than anime, cuz every manga that I read always superior compared to the anime, but it's still good, i still gonna watch it cuz Mappa's fight scene animation is too damn good.
And btw i picture mahito has that kind of voice cuz he is a sadistic bastard with good face. so the voice is right.
