| Not a bad episode at all! It was nice to see Mob's human side; he's one of these people where, even if you're not nice to him, he'll still be nice to you. I'm curious to see if the whole season will be more like this. |

| For a 1st ep of the second season, I was hoping for some summary from the 1st season with some extra scenes to introduce all characters again but we somehow get Reigen being a slave driver—still conning people... The next scene was Mob getting into Ichi's schemes to make him a leader but that would be impossible... she is expecting too much... she is too delusional... she needs to be punished with her unnecessary actions... π Mob getting one should be impossible... the confession really makes me feel it is fake at first so... and after I saw him getting dumped, it wasn't unexpected at all... but still, what he did after that was so cool... and Takane was actually stalking Mob. I wonder what kind of character Takane really is? |

| Damn, why does it feel like they just stepped up their animation? It kinda looks even better than S1. Yo Mob can now go 'into' things and control them, just like evil spirits! I think the first opening had a better song but the second opening takes the cakes for visuals. From the OP, it looks like the defeated upper echelons will be siding with Mob and the other this time and they'll all be fighting against the Claw HQ I presume? Lol, they really named it "Hardcore training montage". Too bad it was of no use. Stage fright got to him. I was actually so happy for my boy Mob. He actually got asked out by a girl. But both of them weren't really into it. Mob was still head over heels for Tsubomi and Emi asked him out because of a dare. Emi has some really toxic and obnoxious 'friends'. Pretty sure she's just putting up with them to not get thrown out of the group and be rejected. Our boy Mob truly is a gentleman. Reigen taught him well. The first episode started off so well. I've high expectations from the 2nd season. |

| Woah, what a start to the 2nd season, everything was awesome in this episode Imo the opening overall was better than the first one, not only in visuals but the song too. In the beginning, we get to see how Mob figures out he can control things with psychic powers, bet that this info plays out later this season Honestly, not even surprised by the fact that Mob couldnt say his speech Ichi's speech in front of the other pupils. Even tho the confession was fake, it was important to Mob. Because of that Mob realized that he needs to consider his own feelings too and not only others. Emi seems like a good character, hope that we see her again :) The ending scene where Mob reassembled Emi's novel piece by piece was my favourite part of this episode. |

| Already moving onto the 2nd season and it seems they have indeed upped their animation but not by a significantly large margin. OP is a downgrade from S1's though. As for the episode itself, its nice and supposed to ease the viewer back into the story. Loved seeing Mob and Emi's relationship grow from a dare to something genuine. No clue why Tsubomi's keeping an eye on them like that though. |

| Even with the ordeal with Ritsu, I remember season two holding significantly more weight regarding Reigen and Mob himself. But how could I forget this first masterpiece of an episode?? Instead of descending into madness (yet, at least) after realizing that Emi has been lying to him all this time, he decides to heed her advice and to be true to his feelings more. And Emi herself doesn't become a one dimensional character who simply tricked Mob because she lost a dare. She could've easily become a throwaway character, a tool simply used to add to Mob's stress levels. But no, the time that they spend together actually made her realize that she wasn't being true to her own feelings herself. I don't need to explain the whole thing of course, but man this was just so beautiful. Although now I'm kind of sad because I don't recall seeing Emi again after this episode.... ;( But anyway yeah I'm re-watching mob psycho to get hyped up again before S3 airs in just a few days! Also wanted to reaffirm my ratings for each- I had them both sitting at an 8/10, but I lowered down season one to a 7. Season 2 though, I'm pretty sure will stay at an 8- or maybe even boost it to a 9. This is the season more referenced in the video shown below, after all. |

| Good start. Back to the strength of the series as it was shown in the first half of the first season. I did not enjoy the second half of the first season. It was too cliche and typical. Overpowered shounen hero bla bla bla spare me. This anime is way more fun when it's about Mobu's life, not some nonsensical evil organization. But it's coming. The second season will have an arc dedicated to the evil org, even though it takes away from what makes the anime good. Oh well. |
