| Haha the council president did not see Hatsuharu coming! Akito scared me, so much... To put Yuki in that state... Tohru is so brave and strong, such a role model, she could have gotten in so much trouble. She is so cool, looking at how to mend things and go forward! |

| probably the first episode i genuinely enjoyed. that interaction with a lot of the zodiacs were hilarious. im also glad shigure spelled out how yuki was being psychology tortured. a lot of shows ive seen usually just say "hurt" like damn thats literal torture hurt doesn't express half of what that is. also did haru show the president his dick ?? lmfaoo |

| If what we previously knew on Akito (like bringing misfortune to Hatori's love) wasn't enough to paint him as a bad guy, seeing the absolute terror in Yuki's eyes certainly makes that clear. |

| first part with haru and momiji was just for the laughs lol but the moment akito entered the picture, the whole light-heard feeling from the start of the anime just changed. |

| The first encounter with Akito was the moment I got hooked to Fruits Basket. Looking at it with the whole story in mind, I was tearing up for the entire second half of the episode. There are so many layers of emotions - from trauma to healing - stacked into these characters. Sometimes I feel like my heart is being crushed, but then moments like the badminton scene always lift it once more. |

| This episode definitely had it’s mixture of lighthearted comedy and drama for sure. Haru and Momiji definitely were the highlights for the first half especially when they were interacting with the student council president was priceless, honestly considering the president’s screaming I can only assume Haru traumatised him offscreen just to prove that his hair is naturally white. XD That being said: Akito. Oh my god, Akito. I honestly don’t know what to say personally, just creepy as hell and I’m not gonna lie Akito’s presence just terrifies me. I don’t know what it is, just the way he or she talks, the way Akito approaches Tohru or the fact that he or she is solely responsible for traumatising Yuki in the first place by locking the latter up in a room at the estate when they were younger. Thankfully Tohru is there to calm things and Akito had NO RIGHT to call her “ugly”. That person better not do anything to her. Not Tohru, anything but Tohru please. And also that death glare that Kyo gave to Akito as the latter was leaving the school premises? Pretty intense stuff. It’s like the moment Akito shows up, it just gets dark pretty quickly. Just like that. At the very least that Badminton scene was there to lighten the mood up again to end the episode. This was probably the best episode so far, brilliant stuff, all around, brilliant stuff. |
| Episode 12 has me all tangled up in my feelings about Akito. There's something undeniably menacing about him, and every new detail just adds layers to my earlier speculations. Now, I'm even pondering if Akito might not be one of the Zodiac animals at all. The mystery deepens, and I'm here for it, albeit with a mix of dread and curiosity. 🕵️♀️ Trying to stay neutral about Akito was a challenge, but after finding out what he did to Yuki, all bets are off—I was fuming! 🤬 It's rare for a character to evoke such a strong desire in me to leap through the screen and deal with them directly. But amidst the storm, there’s always a ray of sunshine. Tohru being there to soothe Yuki's turmoil was such a tender, heart-warming scene. It’s moments like these that really showcase the healing power of her presence. 🌸 And Kyo defending Tohru from those boys? Absolutely swoon-worthy! It's got me daydreaming about what Yuki might have done in his shoes. 😍 This episode was a rollercoaster of emotions, from anger to warmth, and it’s just making me more invested in the lives and fates of these characters. Can’t wait to see how it all unfolds! |

| Akito's appearance drastically changed the tone of the episode. It was rather lighthearted and funny in the first half. It became almost like a psychological thriller in the second half. Akito's impact! |
