| Just finished It, and i have to say that this show is schizophrenic. Part of it wants to be a serious show with huge stakes and emotional character deaths, and the other part wants to be a comedy about someone who gets super powers and sometimes destroys the world because he saw a girl's panties twice. Each part was done well on its own, but having the other part with it just doesn't fit. I think if they had focused on one of the two parts and built the whole show like that it would have been far better, instead of trying to mesh together two incompatible parts resulting in a schizophrenic show. It was still an enjoyable show with a sad and well done ending, but I think it could have been far more. |
| Since the game actually got an English release and I'm finally gonna get around to playing it, I decided to give this a rewatch first. Still an incredibly fun series. |

Did no one else have a problem with the idea though that now Yuuta has to relieve these same shitty events over and over again for eternity. Like he has to continue the cycle which means instead of dying peacefully. Other versions of him have to suffer through all of this for eternity. Makes that happy ending for everyone else kind of suck for Yuuta.
| @NarvPlusExtra THIS. It was the one issue I had with how this ended. I mean, it's creating a new timeline everytime sooo why can't spirit Yuuta just, y'know, STAY with this timeline and say fuck all the others. I think there's bound to be a logical error with the cycle but I am too tired to think that hard right now lol. |
