| Decent ending I suppose with enough closure to end the season with an option for season 2 if that's what they want to do. Yeah, there's lots not to like about the show, but it was entertaining enough that I wouldn't mind a sequel. If Siegfried can wait, why can't you? |

| It was average, cliche but some scenes were entertaining enough. I mean I watched it for free and it passed the time by quite well. Siegfried waiting for the katana sequence to finish, this is anime people, its just like Gundam where they have massive transformation sequence etc and because he is so confident in his own destructive ability. I don't really get why people need to be critical or "elite" in their anime choice because at the end of the days its all the same goal - entertainment. |

| I loved it :) End of this anime was faster, there were more actions, more important development and less boring. Just like tower of druaga, I'll be watching the 2nd season if there's gonna be one. |

I suggest you also check the DVDs of this, they might have put somethings that are interesting but probably just uncensoring will only apply. I am hopping the extras might be interesting. I also want to tell you that they did less boring jokes and more action like you say, it resulted in better episode. Hoping next season more of that comes, especially if they cut out more ecchi. |

| Not a good ending, but a good series. Kinda thought Luke would be the one to end the fight, didn't really expect Cecily to though (I mean she won mostly due to the katana, if the battle was based on skill it would be different, as said by Seigfreid near the end). Though it does hint that the series is going in the direction of a sequel, curious as to how that might turn out to be if it releases. |

But it was the same for me, cut off 80% percent of cecilys screentime, and limit her overly cheesy love speeches to 1 min/season then I'm all for a sequel. | Blacksmith started rather weakly, the later episodes weren't much better either, but ended a bit better (even if the last episode also suffered from certain... problems). He was the obvious bad guy from the beginning and kept saying the same things over and over. we know maybe one or two facts more about him than we did after the first episode. The show won't be better. Manglobe isn't good at telling stories in the first place, and the show itself is limited by Cecily's mouth. |
| 3/10 Wasted potential. It's not often I find a anime/manga focusing on the blacksmith who makes the swords, and that's what really drew me to watch this anime. Terrible pacing. The first episode was okay, but from there it really only went downhill. We have the dress-up episode and the whiny-princess episodes which I found to be totally unnecessary. It's not that I hate fillers in general, but in a 12 episode anime, why? Cecily was probably one of THE most annoying characters I've stumbled across. Luke was decent, showing potential but ultimately hopping on the "LAME" bandwagon with all the other characters in this show. This final episode is a 5/10 alone, but the entire series is a 3 or 4/10. |
