| Out of the three games that were announced at EA's presser, I think I'll pass on them all. I don't like that A Way Out is forcing co-op, they could easily have an AI take over the other character. I mean sure, I'll play it co-op if it's good and cheap but for a full priced game, go fuck yourself. Anthem is supposedly another Destiny-esque console MMO kinda game so that's a pass aswell, fuck online only shit. Need for Speed is well... Need for Speed. As far as games already announced by EA, it's Battlefront 2 I'm looking forward to. Mostly because it actually has a single player campaign. That mutliplayer demo was a bit of a mess though., will still try it since I actually didn't mind Battlefront 1. Was hoping for a Dead Space reboot or sequel but alas the wait to kill necromorphs continues. Also, I was hoping we'd finally Visceral's Uncharted style Star Wars. I am disappoint. 5/10 - Better than previous years but overall just kind of boring. Too much time spent talking, not enough time spend showing. Though I guess if all they did was show stuff then it would have been over in 30 minutes... Maybe EA shouldn't be doing press conferences anymore and just stick to announcing games at Microsoft and Sony's pressers. Microsoft is tomorrow. Hoping some more info on Crackdown, State of Decay 2, Shadow of War, maybe one of two new IPs and Gears 4 DLC. The dream would be a new Conker or Banjo (not Yooka!). The show will probably be prominently about Scorpio (meh), will have more info about Sea of Thieves (meh) & Forza 7 (meh) and there will be the obligatory ID @ XBox (meh) segment. As far as Bethesda goes I'm expecting Wolfenstein: The New Colossus, The Evil Within 2 and maybe Starfield. I wouldn't expect much more than that, Bethesda tends to like to focus a good deal of time on each game and blow out the new IP in a big way. Prey and maybe Dishonored 2 DLC would be a safe bet. Ofcourse they'll talk about ESO and Elder Scrolls Legends aswell as Fallout Shelter then possibly announce a new Elder Scrolls mobile game. |

| I just hope to see some interesting ideas and FUN gameplay. Enough of this cinematic and realistic stuff. I never liked that. Also, I never liked open world stuff, I get that the tech now allows devs to make big worlds, but why not focus on getting 60fps and having a lot of enemies or bigger and better bosses. And anthem doesn't look like attack on titan. No medieval european architecture, no blades, no wires that let you move and fly all cool, no scary giant people. There was also no scifi exo suits in AoT. |
