| Well done. This movie has outdone my expectations. I want to talk more about why I love this movie, but I can't think much right now. I would say that this movie deserves to be in the list of top anime at the very least. |

| Just finished watching this. I mean I liked it. Probably will rewatch it sometime (when the official sub comes out), but for now it gets an 8/10 from me. Interesting plot, likeable characters, I just wish there was more romance in this. |

| I don't understand all the love this movie gets. Different tastes I guess. Getting to the movie, I found it to be good, but nothing exceptional. It plays with human emotions, so maybe that's why more emotional people than me like it a lot more. Nevertheless I won't deny that art, music definitely deserves 9 or even 10. However I find the story to be just average. Characters are so generic that it hurts, that was probably author's intention though. I think that 7 is adequate. I'm going to rewatch Blu-ray version, so maybe I'll change my mind about the rating. |

| A mere guy saves the day!! Anyway in the last part of the movie timeline i didn't see the grandma .-. Lol it's weird to see them both not seeing precisely the year of calendar, especially Taki. When his soul was in mitsuha's body or whatever-- he would realize it sooner as those skyfalling news aren't match in his original daily poop. And i also wondering why people nearby who asked by Taki the unhabited village seems didn't know anything .-. |

| I've been looking forward to watching this film for about a year now, and it surpassed my expectations in every way possible! This is Makato Shinkai's true masterpiece, and i'm so glad it is getting the praise that it deserves. It has been an extremely long time since i have rated something as 10/10. |

Shinkai, you won this commercial battle, but lost in creativity terms! I really expected something more original and realistic! |

| The animation was great except the characters drawing who looked bad imo..they reminded me toradora for example...now umm about the genres..for me its actually "drama" and sci fi for sure...I can't find the "romance" also the "i love you" that he wrote in her hand was unecessary..also the story was weird..they never explained the "switch" method..also how did the people were saved the 2nd time? On the end..all the bugdet was used for the scenery and all this comet-thing,, |

| Another masterpiece from our beloved Makoto Shinkai. While we're still waiting for the BD version, I think the soundtrack is one of the best I've ever heard, really appreciate that. Enjoyable, satisfying enough to make me rewatch some scenes for several times. Yet, it was lacking the surprise element I expected for (damn spoilers), and the ship is somewhat ordinary, lacking any "strong points" there. Only my opinion, though. See you another 3 (or more?) years! |
| i am in tears this was honestly one of the most beautiful films i have ever seen, i laughed, i cried, my heart broke in half.. i cried tears of joy for their happy ending the animation was absolutely gorgeous, the score was fantastic... this is oscar worthy |
