| Your coloring is totally dope, I give you that. Just that your proportion is quite off I guess. I made a little drawover. It's not perfect but I'd say its pretty good in terms of perspective and also proportion. Now, I know this happens cause you didn't use a ref for the pose/perspective. It happened to me as well, that feeling where you dont want to rely too much on reference. Wanting to create something truly original and out of your own imagination. But Artgerm said that you cant draw things you dont know, that ones drawing style should be based on realism before developing his own style. So yeah, proportions and perspective. But truth be told, your coloring is top notch, those skin shading and hairs are beautiful. And that scene lighting is totally great. |

 This is a simple sketch of an original character i just came up with. Its just pencil-brush. I wanted to make it into linework, but it looked awful so let's say this is the planned final stage^^. I liked how the eyes and mouth turned out. I am not happy with the hair at the back. Seems like a didn't want to spent more time with the hair :< |

By making the head larger, I meant as in with, so wider was the word I was looking for. The arms make her look REALLY SKINNY in your drawing, which looks very unnatural compared to her torso, which was drawn slightly thicker than the rest of the proportions. That's why I said to shorten it. The sun and moon chara, also has a 'plump' face? She has a loli like face but you drew her more mature due to it being longer rather than wider. ohh, ok that makes more sense, i thought by shorter torso you meant height wise; was so confused lol, I can see that now. Yeah, I was going for a less loli look, so I didn't want her face to be as plump thanks for the feedback! |
