| OMG, Subaru needs to be taught a lesson, fast! |

| I can't deny that Subaru's absolute analysis method definitely takes a hell of a lot of skill and effort to accurately predict every single detail of his opponent's next dish right down to its very ingredients, making him only need to improve it a step further so he'll win but it's absolutely scummy and unethical especially when it comes to competitive cooking. He won't stop until he completely crushes the opposition's will to live on as a chef and witnessing him do it is despairing. To think that he even took Takumi's quick adaptive skills and turned him on his head... Souma's gonna fight for the dignity of a hundred of his fellow students by putting his future on the line once again. If he wins, maybe he should go ask him to buy a new mezzaluna since Takumi's tool was desecrated by chewing gum already. |

| Honestly I hated the stalker guy in this episode. Poor Takumi. I loved the rap video in this episode. I got a good laugh out of it l! |

| Well, Takumi was about to defeat him but he failed. It is obvious that, somehow, Souma is going to defeat stalker guy in the next episode. That would have been better if the stalker guy would have faced another so it would not be so obvious in the end. |

| Predictable but it was awesome seeing Subaru just psychologically out-wit Takumi in every way possible, where even Takumi's desperation efforts only made Subaru's semifreddo stand out more. He was checked the moment he was announced to have faced Subaru and every little move he made to counteract Subaru's threats and twists only led him closer and closer to the end. Also led to an excellent cliffhanger with the Soma vs Subaru semi-final with some real stakes, even if the result will be obvious. Enjoyable episode, do wish the reaction shots in this episode were somewhat better. |
| The calm before the storm and relaxing moments always help intensifying the tension, which is ironic that J.C. Staff forgot adapting them. The monotone of the quaterfinal really dragged the enjoyment down. It wasn't because of the source material, but the adaptation. |
