Or when that was sensational. I feel like weak characters dont get enough credit. | I kind of agree... to a point. I find overpowered mary sue types to be incredibly boring characters (you know, the Gokus and Supermans of the world). Flawed characters are much easier to relate to and root for, but characters that are TOO weak and never show any growth can be just as boring, honestly. |

I actually like it when the strong character gets their ass kicked. It's far more intense, although it's becoming a cliché nowadays just to show how strong an enemy is. Still entertaining nonetheless.  |

This goes for all types of characters. Strong characters aren't good by default either. A character has to be interesting and relatable. Strong or weak (not sure how you even define that in many cases) doesn't play that big of a role. |
