If you don't know what the problem is after reading this please send me a PM. @Hyung-: The account has too many list entries to fall under the 2+ years rule. It can be requested next year in May though, if there's still no activity on the account then. @R1: You can only request a name if you have been active on the site for at least 3 months, so you still need to wait a bit until you can request a name. @Maria-Otonashi: Do you mean protection under the 5 year rule? There is no hard rule for how many list entries as Kineta already said before. I want to do more name changes but I really don't want to lose this name. x.x Basically, is there a way to tie a specific username onto a profile? If not, and someone snipes my name, is there a way for me to get it back? |

If everyone did this then many names would be blocked that other people would like to use as their only name. If you change your name then Martin will be free and any other user can take it. You will lose the right for the name and can't request it back later. Please do not create a new account to block the name. This is not allowed and having duplicate accounts can result in a ban and having the dupe account being removed. So please think about it before changing your name if you really want another name. @Sakamoto-: The account has too many list entries to fall under the 2+ year rule. Activeness refers to their last login, clubs, anime entries, manga entries, forum posts, everything has to be super low if the account itself isn't old. Accounts that are not old would be around 1-2 years old and they would have to have almost no anime/manga entries or clubs and forums posts in order to have that username.
