| I looked at this thread and see a lot of people actually rated this 4 or 5 or 6 out of 10, but the overall rating in MAL just keeps on growing. Now on 8.05, it was 8.02 last week and it was around 7.70 when it came out. So it is a really good anime. The waiting game started... the most looked forward anime of this Summer ended in a not-so-cliffhanger. I really wanted to see Yao talked to Itami!!! I mean seriously, it's called WHAT WOULD ITAMI DO? Without Itami being really there for Yao... so yes it's a cliffhanger. Not enough Rory. She appeared once as a cameo and the second one with one line. That Pina co Lada is rotten to the core... she spread a weird BL hentai... translated too. Clearly one of the best anime this Summer. Although the split cour is kind of understandable so that Gate won't die in a few months (it already ended on Novel so no more season 3). 10/10 for Rory, Itami, Dragon, and the fun stuff we go through every week. Haters gonna hate. Second season is already on my book, I need my 2016. |

| Mixed feelings. I feel disappointed they ended it the way they did but I"m super glad at least it'll be continuing later next year. Makes it really hard to give it more than a 7 for now. Really love the characters and the art. |

| That was pretty great. Each episode was entertaining and didn't feel too complicated or simple. Something about it was just relaxing xD It's a shame they're gonna go with a split cour after having it show 24 eps until last week but at least I'll have something to look forward to in the Winter season. |

| Aah split cours I see. Got me worried for a second there. What a weak finale for the ending the cour though. Itami this, Itami that, who cares about him? 7/10 for now.... Lelei made me picked this series up anyway. Thank god she lives up to my expectations. Have to wait till next year for the next cour? Urgh... |

| Well, that definitely didn't feel like an ending in an arc, this anime should be 24 episodes straight, but oh well, just be glad the sequel would definitely be aired. Overall this is very enjoyable show, I was hoping there would be a lot of battles like at the 2nd episode. Hope that unattractive Dark Elf wouldn't follow Itami permanently, just three girls from another world is enough. 8/10 |

| Rory will forever be in the top of the dominance category but Ducy Yao Ha has got to be at the pinnacle of the sexy hot one, even Luna got nothing on her :D so Itami will only meet Ducy in the second half but the show got me laughing every episode even with the lamest of dialogues and thats a good thing :) Thie series is pretty much all about the ladies :D Lelei la for her maturity, Luna for her cheerful aura and Pina for her curiosity :) I gave the show 6/10 when it started but I end it with an 8/10, totally deserve it :D |

| The split cour announcement had me disappointed. If you never thought you could manage 24 episodes straight, then don't announce it like so from the beginning. Now we gotta wait another three months before we get back to Yao's story, the conclusion of the red dragon, the politics within the Empire, as well as Shino's much anticipated "badass" moment.... So much rot....  For those not complaining like a mofo, see y'all in 3 months. |

Considering there's a lot of sequel titles this autumn/fall, this will limit my choices a bit more. -_- Nevertheless, the show was really fascinating from start to finish. Good homour, mixed with an enjoyable cast and great art & consistent animation. Overall, an 8/10 and Rory remains the best character of this show. =3 |

| I mean, dark skin elf with silver hair is just DAYUM!!! Yao is hot as f**k! But on another note it sucks to wait until next year to get the continuation, but if they keep the quality up I don't mind the wait. I just love this series so much but I hope it will become better and that it will sell well. |
| Aww men Yao and Itami didn't encountered in this episode. I have to wait 3 months eh? That means no leftovers for me this season. 7/10, i genuinely enjoyed this anime (and was surprised) along with Classroom Crisis and Rokka no Yuusha. |

| Yeah, good show. I was definitely expecting some kind of mindless ecchi-harem and I was so damn wrong. The political and government issues were very well handled. Not too much action but the battle with the red dragon was just fine. And the one with Rory and the soldiers! damn. I liked this passive girl, Lelei. I didn't care too much about Tuka, she wasn't very relevant this season. My favorite of course was Rory. Such a badass! Fine and entertaining show overall. Amazing ending song. |
