| Saber may be kinda bland, but at least she got a great design, can defend herself and fight for what she believes in, participated in a couple of good fights with a (somewhat) cool fighting style and is strong willed, which makes for an acceptable female lead. What I never got was why people liked Illya that much. I mean, I don't dislike her, but I didn't care at all about her in almost the entire VN aside from his conversation with Shirou in the MoS ending and the "You're strong, Bahsakah" scene. Same with Sakura, really, but the later doesn't seem well liked unlike the former. I'm a Rinfag BTW, is just that I also liked Saber. |
