| this show is fun, and I honestly enjoyed it. The SAO vibe wont drive me away because atleast this show isnt lying to its plot.. yknow how like SAO said it was like a survival drama and it ended up being a guy PICKING UP GIRLS IN A DUNGEON also inb4 bell gets turned down and starts having benevolent crushes on a certain someone |

That was the only thing that irked me, it's your standard typical shounen LN so I'm going to give the LNs a shot and see for myself if things were done the same or not. Bell seems like an okay protagonist, nothing too good about him and so far he has not much charms but since this is the first episode, I'm honestly not too worried. Hestia comes off as a cute girl although I have no friggin idea about the whole thing of Bell being her familia. Honestly, some info-dump should have worked here and for that reason only I'm going to pick up the LN. Good thing we have a character like Hestia, gives me enough motivation to look forward to this series. Oh and did I forgot to mention that Hestia is reaaally cute? I'm going to watch all of the episodes so I hope this gets better. I'm a sucker for fantasy series like these though. c: couldn't have said it better |

| I don't dislike Kirito's VA. He did good in Saenai last season and this first episode wasn't bad. Maybe he could have been a little more emotional at times to fit the scenes, but there's nothing I'd really worthy of criticism. As for my impressions so far, I liked it! The characters seem like they'll be interesting, the premise and world are cool, it just seems fun. I even picked up the first volume of the light novel to check it out in-depth. |
| The visuals were very pretty and with the ost, you can really get this RPG feels! Now that's one thing I really liked. I'm pretty interested on how this world works, so I'll be looking foward to see more of it. Still, it seems this anime is going a bit to the harem/ecchi-y side and I'm not a big fan of it, so...yeah, it's a pity. None of the characters were appealing enough to me, even if this is only the first episode I'm not expecting thaaaat much. idk, the MC's motivations and the scene with that wolf guy at the tavern made me cringe a little but let's see where this goes. |

Gotta be honest, while I don't much care for his grandfather's - *cough* - 'words of wisdom', I gotta give respect to Bell's refreshingly straightforward attitude toward getting a girlfriend. SUCH a pleasant break from the standard Blind Von Oblivioustein. I was a little worried about trying this anime out due to it's title, but our MC isn't nearly as pervy as I was afraid he would be. Gave a good set up for his love interests, so I'm definitely interested to see where this goes. |

Staff should've used the same VA's who voiced Honoka Takamiya and Ayaka Kagari from Witchcraft Works for Bell and Aiz, but you shouldn't instantly remember Matsuoka as Kirito. I mean, the 1st character I remember is and will forever be Lubbock from Akame ga Kill!. Plus, the guy's a great VA as he proved in No Game, No Life. |

| Already more entertaining than SAO although that doesn't say much. Love the J-RPG setting. I do agree that Matsuoka needs to stop appearing everywhere. I'm fine with him but there are others.. this is turning like that one particular season in 2013 (I think) where Kana Hanazawa starred in about 6-7 anime in that season alone. |

| Decent anime. They really need to explain some parts in the show, since non-LN readers may not understand what happened/are they doing at certain parts. Kirito's voice is in almost every anime I picked. :/ Really? He wanted to get stronger just to pick up girls? (Respect -100000!) Nothing special here, the character design is generic, the PLOT is good I guess.. now let's see the story and the real plot... |

| Again Kirito's VA... Why J.C. Staff? Why? At least he has a more shota voice so that's good and refreshing. Finally a refreshing female protagonist. Minase Inori ftw - loli queen. Bell is too stupid and dense to notice Hestia. What a nice shop attendent, I like her. I thought Bete would be a buddy but looks like no. I like Bell's guts at least. This seems great so far. I actually like the concept and the setting is gooood. I would rather have a rpg-style setting that a "thrown into a different dimension" setting, it's so much better. This was excellent, 9/10. |

| I actually enjoyed this more than I thought I would. I mean, I eat this "generic" shit up, so I already thought I'd like it, but it actually went above and beyond my expectations. The art was really good. Very impressed. Glad the art didn't dip in quality during the fighting scenes. They were done really nice. The OST was great too. All of the songs really fit the themes and tones going on. Definitely had that great renaissance feel to them. Fight music was good too. Kirito changed his voice up JUST enough for this to not be a Kirito clone. Obvious Hestia is best girl already. Basically a loli with big tits. Dat side boob and dat ass, I'll be enjoying that fanservice this season. Aiz looks pretty hot too. I'm sure we'll see more of her. That red haired chick. In her entrance scene, I thought she was a dude just wearing a skin tight shirt. Cant remember where but I've seen a male character wear something similar and look exactly fucking like her. I don't even think I've seen tits that small on any female character in all my years watching anime...........but DAT ASS DOH. Well she needs every inch of it when she's got fucking negative tits up top. I like the attention to detail they threw in to the show too. Like not only does everything look and feel medieval, but they kept it 100% consistent. The scene where he was brushing his teeth using basically a frayed stick lol, was impressed with that. Loved the little Bell x Hestia dance thing in the ED. That made me lawl. Wellp, super impressed with this show. Looking forward to next week. | I don't think Matsuoka is the best fit for the MC but it works I guess. The animation pretty good. There are some real hilarious lines in this episode lol. I think things are moving pretty fast even for a first episode though I haven't read any of the source material. |
| Well...that was terrible. Wimpy, dense protagonist, who all the girls seems to like for some reason, gets some unique OP skill. I can already see where this is going. At least, they could have made him likable so we could enjoy his journey from a wimp to God. It's set up like a standard harem with the girls just waiting to be impressed with him and all the other guys being generic one-dimensional jerks who are just stepping stones to him like the guy in the bar at the end. Also, there were some pretty offensive sexist statements there: "Girls like guys who are strong and can protect them"..."You save a weak female adventurer from a hideous monster..." They sure aren't going for subtlety here. Now I'm trying to remember why I put it on my PTW list in the first place. |

| Really not a fan of the fan service in this. Though I really like the RPG elements, I'm not sure I like them enough to put up with stupid passive skills, and an anime that focuses on saving women from monsters. Not to mention the harem element. Just seems really generic, which is a shame since I was hoping this would be similar to Tower of Druaga. :/ |

| The problem of Matsuoka being Bell is he using Kirito voice (or a voice who resemble too much kirito), he did the same with Rinri-kun and Souma ( iron chef the anime), thats not happend with other characters Lubbock from Akame ga Kill! or Sora in No Game, No Life and we can mention Mangaka-san to Assistant-san, Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei being Ichijou. |

| Ugh the amount of fan service bothers me, but aside from that, the animation is lovely. Definitely looking forward to fight scenes with monsters. Oh, god, I hope this doesn't turn into a harem anime. The world does not need another one of those. The characters are pretty decent, although of course all the girls have already fallen for the main protag. This kind of felt a lot like SAO. I mean aside from the fact that Kirito's seiyuu is the same guy as the protag in this anime. Even the end part, when they announce the name of the next episode, sounded the same as the way they did it in SAO. I wonder when the main conflict will pop up? I sorta have a feeling that it hasn't showed up yet (at least I hope not because there was no good/legit conflict in that episode)... |

| Okay, this show is just dumb. MMO elements when it's not an MMO? Dropping harem bombs everywhere? "Work hard" and get the girl when the MC is obviously a loser beta? This show doesn't even make me crack a smile yet. At least I can still laugh at SAO's stupidity, but this? Just screams mediocre on so many levels. I'll give it another episode before it gets on my drop list. Edit: Also- WHY THE HELL DOES KIRITO'S SEIYUU KEEP POPPING UP IN THESE GOD DAMN HAREMS?!?!?!? GOD, I HATE HIS VOICE SO MUCH. |
