I personally love how I have such an awesome point for "Why the Haruhi-series is overrated" now but the one thing that leaves me in despair is that some people still say this was great. Even if KyoAni wants the audience to feel what Nagato feels (note: Nagato is a robot, she doesn't feel anything), if an animation studio wants to bore the audience, it's a bad studio.

Also, everyone who enjoys being bored is weird by default. Ô.o

The whole point to the episode is to show that you've only watched this happen 3 times, and if that's how you feel after 3 times, then you can just imagine now what 15,499 must really feel like.

Plus, while some events tend to "link" to other chapters of the novel, this is one of the few that still doesn't.
