| I believe I niether ignored nor denied your request, so I'm curious about your comments. I merely asked to not go overboard with foreign language synonyms. We are an English site cataloguing (essentially) Japanese manga and anime. Thus, it makes sense to have synonyms in Japanese and English. It does not make sense to have synonyms in 10 major languages. Reviews are only to be in English. Suggestions are only to be in English. Summaries are only to be in English. We are an English site. This is not racism, it is consistency. I'm not stating that English is the best, I'm saying that is the language this site is built on. Who knows, maybe we'll have different language options in the future, and then we'll happily add synonyms, suggestions, reviews, etc. in those languages. And please note, this is for your information, not a discussion. The moderators are taking a firm stance on no drama on our support boards. Hope this helps :) |
