| The anime team isn't taking catching up with the manga well, because what was a solid show prior to episode 18 is now a clusterfuck of miscellaneous fuckery. There have been multiple counts of a lack of continuity between episodes, and now even within an episode. Esdeath as a being is getting out of hand; she's just too ridiculously OP. This entire episode felt rushed, and I haven't read the manga so I'm not comparing it to that. I don't know. What was easily a solid 7.5 for the first half of the series is just sloppy now. |

Kinda like the manga, but at an even faster rate. I'm still interested in what will happen in episodes 23, 24 and 25 though. Next ep, Kurome dies, but after that is all uncharted waters. Let's just hope that they aren't shark-infested. Who am I kidding. They're probably piranha-infested too. |

Akame Ga Feels  [/quote]I did see this coming.. I have to say that this show keeps getting better and better. I know it sucks to lose characters you love but that's one of the reasons why this show gives you so many feelings. So many times in the anime all good characters survives and everything is going to be fine at the end of the day but this anime takes it to the next level and I'm so happy about it. I'm going to miss Mine a lot.. One of my favorite characters for sure. |

| I don't have enough popcorn to last me through the comments of the overly emotional fanbase and the hate train. The quality took a nosedive once things started to get rushed, and didn't really affect me as much as I'd assume. Only here to find out what happens to Akame and Kurome at this point for some closure. I could care less about everyone else. |

| So many feels. All the characters i liked are all dead :( I'm kinda mixed. For one, there are characters that are dead in the anime that are alive in the manga. And there are characters that are alive in the manga that are dead in the anime. I'm glad they did Esdeath vs Susano. Still want Wave vs Night Raid. I'm guessing Wild Hunt will be skipped. I don't like it but I understand why since it's a very violent and dark arc. OST was solid this episode. I probably would of liked the episode more if i was an anime only watcher since I already knew of what was going to happen. |

| Why you guys saying this episode was good? The fight was so lacking and boring (especially Mine vs Budou), and I don't have any idea why Mine died lol. Najenda still useless as always. The Tatsumi x Mine couple need more development (or just like the manga), but you fucked up White Fox. Her death is so pointless. |

| I hope they explain just how Mine died. She took a beating against Justice-chan and made a full recovery but here she just drops dead after actually defeating her opponent and without even taking a hit. Maybe she kicked the bucket because her teigu broke? We have seen it happen before without killing the user to Mine's pumpkin seems to react more directly to her state of mind so maybe it goes both way, when the weapon is under too much duress the user also suffer. But I bet that wasn't it and they just wanted to have yet another death because, well, because. The whole romance angle was always horribly trite and played like every tsundere route in an harem as opposed to a gritty, violent and oppressive environment that is supposed to be. This isn't Guts and Casca. |

| Ok Budou was completely uninteresting and his death was warranted. His death marks the last achievement for Mine and I think it was done well. I was very emotionally invested in this episode and I am sad to see that both Susanoo and Mine have been killed. I really liked both of their characters especially Mine for her development through out the show. In my opinion, Mine died from taking the brunt of many of Budou's attacks as well as the recoil from using pumpkin to it's max potential in an exhausted state. That being said, I hope the next episode starts with Mine and Tatsumi in the infirmary. Mine only passing out from exhaustion and Tatsumi kicking himself for thinking that she was dead. However that is probably just a delusion on my part, but I can dream if I want to. |
