| Really nice episode! Love the artstyle! Also, I kinda feel where the story is going. I feel a bit lazy rn and I have to edit some photos so I might not post a review as long as I usually do.  Oh, he's having a breakdown! I knew it! There was no way they didn't remember him! He saw through her! There's no way she doesn't have a crush on him! He fell for her! Her performance was amazing btw! Awww, that's soo sweet! Overcome the bitch! Guess she messed him up a bit That was nice! She was shaking tho Its love bro! I kinda feel weird because they are middle schoolers and when I was one I thought I understood love but I truly didn't and maybe I still don't. Lmaoooooo 8/10 really good! |

| Great performance from Kaori! Though she did went off the rules. At least, she is playing from the bottom of her heart :) Yuujin A seems to slowly falling. It's obvious Watari can always get other girls in the meantime :P |

| I don't understand why would Tsubaki encourage her friend to go out with a guy that not only shows interest in more girls at once but also dates another! Tsubaki remains a mystery for me at the moment. |

| not nice from him to lie about Watari, but I guess the title is your lie in april and it is march or april then why if she should (like a normal girl would) hate him after what happened, invite him ? She is very unnatural, yet exceptional. |

| From Kousei's monologue, he clearly likes Kaori but also sort of resents that she's able to not crack under the pressure the way he had? Speaking of pressure, we see that while Kaori doesn't seem to care about judge ratings, she was nervous when Kousei hesitated when asked about her performance... Kousei isn't her friend (at least not yet) and she doesn't know he's a musician so I assume she just wants to make sure her entire audience enjoys her performance? |

| A better second episode. The fmc is great. First impression is that she is a more charismatic but less klutz version of the fmc in Nodame Cantabile. Unlike the mc, she is willing to go beyond the tempo set by Beethoven to deliver a solid performance. I wonder if she can sight read a music sheet. I should think she should, but it makes you wonder if she is playing by ear. eta: I also got to hear for the first time that the more formal term 友人 is used instead of the usual word for friend, which is 友達. Also, he is falling for her because she has demonstrated that performing music can be fun. On the other hand, her dead mother was such a bitch that she sucked the joy out of playing from Arima. |

Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating. |

| After the last episode, I feel like this episode did a great job at presenting us what we can expect from this anime in terms of presentation of the World of Classical Music. Also, I'm feeling we're in for a love triangle between Kousei, Kaori and Wataki, so I was surprised to see Wataki actually pushing Kousei to go after Kaori. I mean, I suppose Wataki has too many girls to handle, so yeah, xD At the end, we see Kousei being Kaori's "second choice", but I think he's just happy in a way to be with her. On to the 3rd episode, we have no time to waste! Like Tsubaki says, we have to live our youth! |
