I mean, I get LNs are an odd bunch, but In a world which forbids inappropriate language, Tanukichi Okuma attends the country's strictest school and gets invited to join SOX, a committee to fight against the world's strict morals. While a part of SOX, Tanukichi joins their fight against the school and their student council president whom she has a crush on. and then I read the actual synopsis on the MAL page, which is no better: 16 years after the "Law for Public Order and Morals in Healthy Child-Raising" banned coarse language in the country, Tanukichi Okuma enrolls in the country's leading elite public morals school and is soon invited into the Anti-Societal Organization (SOX) by its founder, Ayame Kajou. As a member blackmailed into joining by Ayame, Tanukichi ends up taking part in obscene acts of terrorism against the talented student council president Anna (for whom Tanukichi has a crush on). This is really odd, but then again, I gotta remember I'm on an anime site...I feel like I've heard of the MC getting blackmailed into joining a club s/he doesn't want to somewhere... I'm not judging the book by its literal cover, even though that cover is really eccentric. The synopsis sounds very bland and boring. I can't see how you can do anything with that kind of story, from an author's POV. |

| Ok, on the Anime itself, it looks like Trash. It doesn't take anything seriously; you can tell just by looking at the cover. Hell, the girl ain't even cute. But on the industry, I don't really think this means that there are an abundance of good/bad shows. |

This sounds like it will be a blast to watch. 80% of the Anime related stuff are sold to Japanese audience anyway, so I don't think they need to care about Western audience at the point. Besides, many anime are just one-cour CM for the original work, it doesn't really matter if the BD sales doesn't turn out good as long as the original works sold well. Saying so, I did not expected this to get animated. But I will definitely watch. I vote Hikasa Yoko to voice Ayame, she already had plenty of experience in Seitokai Yakuindomo. |
