The main reason is because chairs aren't made for short people, I have to sit with poor posture for my feet to reach the ground (it probably doesn't help that I have short legs for my height as well). Not really looking forward to lower back problems later in life |

I feel like I stick out way too much and can't be considered "cute" like other girls, even though I'm really not that much taller than most girls I meet. Also my legs are really long so I can forget about finding any skirts/ dresses that don't look too short on me. |

| I'm 180cm+ (Around 5'11, although I can't remember how tall last time I measured) and (hopefully) still growing. It wouldn't bother me being stuck at this height, but my ideal height would be somewhere around 185 (6'1). |

| I'm 5'1. I don't really have a problem with my height nor do I dislike it, but there are disadvantages like the ones you've mentioned. Being mistaken for a younger age, not being able to reach things on higher shelves, ect.. Lol. I'm the shortest one in my family/friends. Haha. |

| I'm 179 cm, which, if I remember correctly, is the exact average height for a male such as myself, here in the US. But I do tend to feel like I'm a little on the tall side quite often. I think it's because the average is actually a few cm above the mode or something. Anyway, mirrors usually cut off my eyes, so I have to bend down, my nut sack can rest on counter tops quite easily, so I have to bend way down to sign anything, or whatever... I'd rather be too short and not have to constantly contort my back, ruining what little posture I might have developed otherwise. And that's coming from a guy. So if you're a short chick, you really shouldn't complain. Also, in case no one has told you yet, cute is sexy, when you're talking about chicks. It's only an insult if you're talking about guys. Unless they're gay, I guess. |
| I have a terrible memory and I hope I haven't commented in this thread before 'cause I remember mentioning my height and then a day later realising I was wrong lol In any case, I'm approximately 5'7"/170cm(ish) and I'm a girl. Most women in my family are 5'5"/165cm or shorter. I'm pretty content with my height, although I do wish I was a little taller. My boyfriend doesn't though, hahaha. I don't think it affects my life much, it just means I have a better chance of reaching cupboards and shelves. It's a relatively average height so nobody ever mentions it really. Shorter girls do tend to be considered cuter, but from what I've heard guys generally seem to prefer shorter girls so don't worry too much if you can help it! |
