It varies. Maybe it takes me a range of 4-10 minutes for a weekly chapter? It depends how much is there to process. I didn't have a MAL account when I binge-read a lot of stuff, so I can't give a proper estimate. But I read faster than most of my peers on average. Some series, I take my time. Like Monster, I took my sweet time with that. One Piece's setpieces are so grand at times that I can't read through it as fast as every other shounen manga in existence because I need to process what's happening. Other series, I take in the symbolism and art (Aku no Hana and Otoyomegatari) or I laugh too hard (Yotsubato!, Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun, and Horimiya), which make fast reading near impossible.

I've never really measured how fast I read. I guess I can finish a paperback volume of manga in about 30-40 mins on average.

Shounen manga with 20 pages: 2 minutes
Josei manga with around 30 pages: 6 minutes
BL manga with 30 pages: 2 minutes

It depends if the story is good/interesting. For example, I read 26 chapters in 2 days of Kuroshitsuji. It took me 4 more days to catch up to ch.107. Now, I'm waiting for the newest chapter to come out. If I'm not really intrigued, it'll take forever for me to read.

It's hard to say "read" when it comes to manga. Most manga chapters have have prob. less than 2 pages worth of text total; the rest is visual & can quickly be scanned.

Depends on the manga. Been reading Elfen Lied and I've finished some of the chapters in 2-3 minutes. This was on my phone though.

If I'm reading any of my physical manga volumes I take a LOT longer because I like to take everything in.

I'm really slow when it comes to reading manga, especially if it's a series I enjoy. I like to take my time enjoying the story and art. So timewise, it varies depending on the manga.

I take my time with it, making sure enjoy each panel's art before moving on. If you don't take the time to enjoy the art, you are doing it wrong! I usually only read a few chapters at a time.

It depends on the content:
Bleach's manga isn't well packed so I may read one chapter each 5 min or even faster.
HxH manga is well packed: I took once 23 min to read a chapter !

If it's very good and detailed art or it's a particularly striking panel, I slow down to soak it in, otherwise I'm just buzzing through it. Something like A Bride's Story or Asumiko Nakamura's works give me pause. If it's very typical art like Shojo Beat's --very thick lines and generic features--then the process goes by much quicker.

Also, it's very easy to read quickly when there's little art to look at, i.e. lots of black and white panels with speech bubbles

Things To Keep In Mind:
  • You shut your mouth when you're talking to me.
  • My thirst for anything humanoid (and legal) cannot be contained.

I used to be able to read 4 volumes in a day, but now it depends on how much text the material has. For example: Death Note.

Last March, I read the whole Detective Conan series which has over 940 chapters or so (back then, it's 963 chapters now). The very first thing I do in the morning was pick up my phone, open Mangabird and continue reading. I read in the toilet, I read on the bus, I read until it's 23:30 or so; basically I read that manga all the time my eyes are wide open. And it continued for a month. After I finished the series ( which I finished in exactly one month), I started to notice some screw looses in my head. * blink, blink, try to grasp the reality, images of death bodies started to appear, blink again * I lost track of everything that's happening around me in that one month...

I, in general, read really really slow.
I average around 3 and a half maybe volumes a day?
If I'm reading online, normally about 20-40 chapters a day.
I'm one of those people who take frequent breaks, though.

I can normally read a volume in around 30 minutes or a chapter in around 5.
If I have the physical copies available, I can read around 5 volumes in a row.
If it's online, I read a couple of chapters at a time and take a break before reading again.

It depends on the series, for factors unknown.

Fruits Baskets I can barely read more than five chapters at the time, despite the fact that I'm enjoying it; and ReLIFE I can read 40 chapters in a day.

I read 5 volumes of OPM in a day last summer. Shifting through the current manga I'm reading and school reduces it to a couple of chapters a day.

I read fairly fast. Depending on text, it can take me 10 seconds-2 minutes a page I guess.
