I find it quite funny that Naegi, Kirigiri and Monokuma are all listed at main characters here in MAL, and the others are supporting. :) EDIT: She went down to supporting status. | Good episode, but I'll give it 1/5 because it made me feel sick. Why they have to kill two of the hottest girls in 1 episode. I was hopping that the first one to die is the ugly fat guy or the big guy wearing female clothes. |

It's a good call, it sold a bunch and the pink blood became a staple trope of the series. It added something to make it more unique. Dangan Ronpa is not a horror genre by any stretch. It is thematically horrifying in the form of despair, but that comes from it being a thriller - making it more suspenseful than scary - within the mystery genre. Horror genres are not to be taken as seriously as thriller or mystery genres do. *angry whiny face* |

Boring episodes, except for some moments, which don't really last long ... totally disliked the 2nd episode ... | I've noticed people have overlooked the smashed crystal ball? It would be too obvious if Hagakure did it because they found his crystal ball but it must have some significance. The only thing that annoyed me about them all suspecting Naegi is that it would be too obvious if he did it they knew he was willing to stand by Maizono because on the last episode they were all stood behind Naegi and Maizono. |

Basically, a Class Trial will happen a few long minutes after the body has been found. Monokuma gave them time to investigate everything for use in the Class Trial. It's...Monokuma's personal little twist to the game, I think. I mean, it would've been boring for him if someone just killed someone, and left, right? That's why the Class Trial exist. To determine who's the culprit. It makes it more interesting for him. Wrong culprit = everyone dies, and culprit gets to "graduate". Correct culprit = culprit dies, everyone lives on. |

| well THAT happened... its like the anime version of 'CLUE'. one thing i will say is i gotta jump on the anti pink blood bandwagon. i know why it is the way it is but just takes me out of the show for some reason... perhaps its because i have eaten/drank too many things the same shade of pink, idk... |
