| With one "still" exception and going a bit overboard with Jean's close-ups, it was an awesome episode! Jean's monologue I hope finally would help people understand better what means to fight the titans face to face, and it should be reasonably considered, given it comes from the man, who usurped the standard for realism. Anyway, first things first: Armin changes the dire situation by capitalizing the appearance of the new reification of humankind: Some Titans Works - awesome, Titan CanCan, DAT Payback, and revealing (at last): Annie, because she is next to drop dead gorgeous: Marco and Jean (a seeded tribute): Mikasa's world is going to be totemo utsukushii again:  I'd rather prefer the scene with the three of them, this one is no less touching: 18/5 |

| Seems like it's doing pretty much what I said in the previous episode discussion. Maybe it was just me but it felt like they extended the scene where Sasha failed to kill the titan. |
| They did a great job with this episode, I hope they manage to keep this quality for all the rest of the series. |

| I'm okay with them using stills for unimportant scenes like walking down stairs or filling up the gas tanks. I do think they were used way too much in this episode, though. They ruin the viewer's immersion in the world. |
| That slow mo punch when Jean was looking at the titans probably ate up a good chunk of the budget lol. You could see the flesh on the titan's face RIPPLING from the force |

| Animation quality dropped a lot this episode, quite a few stills used too. The scene when they had just broke into the storage complex and you see titan Eren's fist punch the titans away from building through a gap in the wall had so much more impact in the manga too. I was looking forward to them doing a good job of animating that but it felt lacking, other than that a pretty decent episode 4/5 |

| Another great episode, the show is coming along really well. These pasts episode is one of the events that I've been looking forwarded to in the anime, and it was done amazingly well. Though some still images were used. I was disappointed they used it in the scene where Reiner says that the 2nd weakness is up the ass, I was hoping at least that would have been animated, but they left that on stills, and it was an odd one for me, but the rest of the episode was done well. Dat Falcon Punch in slow motion in front of Jean, holy shit it was glorious. Marco x Jean, ah those scenes. Heartwarming to see. Reiner and Co living up to their stuff and Annie was just fabulously badass in this episode. Looking forward to see more of her in the show, and the scene where Mikasa checks Eren for heartbeat was just emotionally as it can get. Mikasa~ Oh and Levi (Kristen Stewart) in the preview!  |

| Man the only bad thing in this episode is that MOE titan got killed. :( Armin throw out 2 great plans, and they both worked perfectly, finally he started to use his head. |

That's not a mistake. :P Also watching the episode again, the moment armless Eren grabbed the titan who killed Thomas and lifted him with his mouth, the anime went crazy with the details because we can SEE his rib cage breaking because of the weight being put on it. Honestly little touches like that make the stills more than worth it. |

Her uniform probably mitigates a good portion of the heat not to mention she just got the light of her world back so she could care less about light scalding that might cost her. |

| Neon Genesis Erengelion is over. Isayama said that fans have different opinions, pros and cons, at this chapter. I suppose many fans didn't expect that Eren is alive and has been a titan. At least I thought Eren is already dead. |

| It took another whole damn episode to finally get to this. I would be surprised if there were people who didn't see that coming the moment Eren got eaten. I hope next episodes pick up the pace. So far they seemed to be stretched out. |

| The best character has made a reappearance. Order of Best characters so far. Eren > Annie > Sasha > Jean > Reiner > Connie Springer > Armin > Moe Titan(R.I.P. u will be missed) > Mikasa. |
