As you can see from the publication dates shown at the end of volume 1, it started in 1996. Perhaps it is, but a line needs to be drawn in regards to how databooks are handled. As for the example you provided it will be looked at to see if it is within the database guidelines. |

| I noticed that we don't have Super Dash Bunko in the list of serialization magazines. I tried to look it up when I try to add a new manga but it's not there. Is it missing, under a different name or not considered a magazine by MAL? Ben-to, PapaKiki and Campione are all serialized there I believe. | Actually I have more of a question than a 100% sure modification. It's about A Fairytale for the Demon Lord http://myanimelist.net/manga.php?id=41723 It's said to have ended season one and a second one will start at some point but the author said it'd be named otherwise, A Fairy tale for the Knight if I'm not wrong (or something along that pattern) focusing on the other side of the story. Shouldn't the first season be accounted differently than then second then? So my request is to end this manhwa and add a new entry for season 2. |

| I'm going to start picking away at this, starting with where we left off belatkuro Super Dash Bunko is an imprint, not a magazine, so we will not add it. Set to finished and edited the entry to fit our guidelines. -Crys A quick Google finds that You and Me Make Love does exist, so that's not an issue. You can search that yourself. Just request for it to be set to finished, as I did. Number of volumes is questionable and more than one, so I left it unknown. Someone who cares/wants to set it complete can submit that. Rest set to finished. Maora done RealBamboocha Fixed the gaiden entry. The Mizukami Satoshi entries stay separated. They have unique titles and are separated by years in publication. Many authors have "author name short stories" releases, but that doesn't mean we merge them. For reference in the guidelines: Ongoing compilations may have a separate entry for each volume if: more than two years occur between volumes; volumes have unique themes clearly indicated in the titles oxymoron Edited the Alice entries, except Boushiya to Shinya no Ochakai will remain the same. That title doesn't appear to be related to any scanlation or license and we don't add randomly translated titles. FYI, the MU entries on these titles are hideous. That was added instead. Either I or someone else will pick up from here Except I see above me a post about Aria. Aria is staying shoujo. Last I looked, it wasn't specified josei on the official site. At its start, all the press releases (like on natalie) called it a shoujo magazine. Their younger age limit is teens and there's furigana all over the place, so we'll keep it as shoujo. |

| It's a queue and people keep submitting the same entry, which is very old MAL news and not the least bit surprising. If you must, leave the numbers (honestly, we can see them if someone has started to post the same title) and keep the spam commentary to yourself. Also, if something involves a merge or deletion, a mod can't do that and don't post about it less than a few hours of it being looked at. Only admins can deal with it and there's other duties that trump that. So unless it's been like two weeks, especially with holiday travel, don't waste my time. Okay, cleaning up the reply business. Thanks, svaax. Sometimes I'm surprised at the more obscure titles we already have in the manga db (or messes like BonBon), so less checking is good. I wasn't connecting there being a different Young Champ/Young Champion! Added Young Champ. They need to be more creative with names.. Added "Spin-off" to Otoko no Isshou. Forgot about the very unimaginative serialization title. And yes, Nitro+ includes Nitro+Chiral. From what I understand, Nitro+Chiral is a branch/brand of the same company and I don't think there's a precedent for splitting those up in the db. This tends to be more relevant to anime entries, so feel free to post anything different from that trend and I can ask the anime side about how they handle it. I'm not adding "Di Gi Charat - Official Comic Anthology" to the entry as it's a translation not associated with a license or scanlation. Did everything else up to Shirube no Michi. Either I or someone else will pick up from the bottom of here. |
