The aliens said that in their next lifes people close to each other will have the same relationship, so why does kei and reika who were lovers become mother and son? lol.
Despite everything that has happened in that accursed room, I'm glad that he asked the right final question and confirmed the validity of the human soul and reincarnation too. They explained it in a very cold and scientific way but finding out that the departed revive along with those they connected in their previous lives in one way or another was like some sort of a silver lining at the very least. It's good that those godly bastards left them a sliver of hope after plunging them in a cesspool of existential despair before leaving.
Now there's the problem of coming back and the enemy's commander still kicking and all that.
Why did that truth alien even show up and entertain the humans? I kinda liked how Reika received a bittersweet end. A bit disappointed she was brought back so Kurono #2 could tell her that he actually did love her.
I appreciate the philosophical battle over what the worth of a human life is, but that was a lot of presumptions made that we actually have no clue about. If (and this is a big fat "if") humans of the future do ever discover if souls are real, and what happens to a soul when a person dies, then this manga will become seriously outdated. ...Unless it is actually correct. Imagine if humans souls really are 21 grams....
Then again, all stories are bound to become outdated after enough time passes so I guess this whole point I made is irrelevant lol
so human souls do not exist but rather just 21 grams of data, data that can be copied, manipulated an deleted, this advanced civilization can even manipulate this data from other dimensions an see into the future, there's no way humans can even hope to defeat them an i am sure Kurono knew it was useless to try but he wanted to die and hopefully see Reika again after dying
also the black balls suddenly stopped working, i think that while humans can create these things they cannot power them up, which d mean that things like teleportation an resurrection was never in control of the humans who built the balls but rather under the control of this advanced civilization
Expected something next level mid and cringe like this to be the "mystery" behind Gantz. Lmao at least the characters everything else in the manga was rad.
