| @Ricz: The two episodes were released using the same method (i.e. bundled with the novels) and fall in chronological order so there is no reason to split them up. If there's ever a third OVA episode released with the novels, we'll probably take another look but I kind of doubt we'll split as there is no point to it. @ChaoXide: Things released with DVD/BD volumes of the original show are considered specials by us, not OVAs. A notable exception is a 13th episode released as a volume 7 of a 12 episode show; i.e. when the 12 episodes fit on 6 volumes and then they release a 7th volume with an unaired 13 episode, which we consider an OVA (just our discretion, could just as easily be called specials). @cat_clan: Huh, removed then. Set it to unknown. The first volume of the soundtrack is two discs (generally around 90-100 minutes of music). And yes, I said first volume. There's going to be more than one. There's no way a 12 episode anime is going to have a soundtrack that long. It will be at least 2-cour. It might be split cour, but its BD/DVDs only have 12 episodes listed on Amazon, like a typical 1 cour run. So for now, its best to have it at 12, and add a 2nd season down the line if they go that route. |

But the other 3 OVAs (actually OADs, but whatever) are episodes 14, 15 and the next unreleased OAD will be episode 17. This is also mentioned in the episodes themselves. So the OVAs are episodes 14-17, and having episode 16 as a standalone entry is a bit silly. That's why I think they should be merged together. MAL pretty much considers OVA and OAD the same thing, so merging them together wouldn't give any problems, right? It would just be way tidier. |

So yeah... it's almost certainly 12 eps. Almost certainly. @STM: Hmm, you make a good point. I haven't watched them yet and just assumed these episodes were completely random like the rest of the show but they're numbered? Then not merging is quite awkward. |
