| If we're talking about in general than it's violence, if we're talking about in the media then it's still violence. Violence is pretty much encouraged by everything that if someone does something to piss you off to beat the crap out of them, take the video of those girls ganging up on the one other girl for example. The problem in the media isn't exactly sex itself but just how women (sometimes men but rarely) are treated as mere tools for sex and then people get the idea that things are supposed to be like that, pretty disgusting if you ask me. |

It does not depend on the parents and friends. I live in a small town with a wide set of environments, and teen pregnant girls come from all of them. Violence is what teaches you to stand up for yourself. When someone's about to rob you from your wallet or something, then talking doesn't help a bit. It helps when you can be aggressive at times. Reverse the process of being intimidated and you already won halfway from the person assaulting you. What i posted before, is the answer to the issue. Pronto. that's not violence, that's self defense, there's a huge difference between the two. and funny thing is, in Italy [where I live now] there's no problem with teens pregnancy... neither in Israel [I'm from there]... so that can somehow show something about the issue, the problem is usa problem... not in other countries... it can amply that it has a lot to do with the environments,culture, media atc and as for violence... it's everywhere, the only thing that's changing is the lvl. |

| None of them is actually bad. Like everything in this world is how you use them.They are both in our nature. Humans are able for the most amazing and the worst things you can imagine at the same time. If you use violence to harm others then it's no good but if you use it because is necessary to survive protect then it can be good. The same goes for sex. If you use it just to provoke and get through things or you let your self to be completly taken over by his desires and losing your common sense it can be harmful but sex is also the most beautiful thing since it can create a new life and is the final connection of two people who love each other. Off cource even that is just a matter of perspective since what is bad or good is created by the rules of the current society. |

Self-defence and protection are necessities and not good things (barely violence either, but that's just my semantic scissoring talking). Also, how the cakes can you use violence without the intention of harming another, whether it is in their freedoms, their mental state or physically? Violence is to do harm. |
