According to Crunchyroll, Recorder to Randoseru will have thirteen episodes. Is CR a reliable enough source to edit total episode counts or do I need the actual production team to confirm this themselves?

Ben-to BD Vol 2 actually comes with two extras.

One is a 15m picture drama, but the other is a 1,5 minute long music clip with Shaga.

Considering it's size and content, shouldn't that second one be added as one more episode for http://myanimelist.net/anime/12447/Ben-To_Specials or have it's own entry?

No, Vol.1 has two, Vol. 2 has one and Vol.3 has one. (BTW, where did you see that 1.5 min. music video of Shaga? I didn't see it on the description on the official site)

On the other side, the problem occurs. The 2nd picture drama (from Vol.3) has 7 mins. (like Ben-To Specials.) Where should that go instead, mods.? Should Ben-To Picture Drama be merged together with Ben-To Specials, then edit the more info. tag with indicating that "Picture Drama 1 "You Satou, Juuroku-sai no Danjoubi (映像特典ピクチャードラマ「佐藤洋、十六歳の誕生日」) (Vol. 2)" is 15 mins., but others are 7 mins.?? (By the way, there will be no animated specials included in Vol.4 except PV, CM, and stuff)

Thank you~

@tophf: If it has new animation, I don't see why not.

@arsonal & tsubasalover: A sub-title sounds like a good solution, yeah. I'll fix it when I approve it, been a little busy.

@aisuuw: Set to finished for now. Will reopen if they release more eps.

@chaosprophet & tsubasalover: Will think about it and maybe discuss with other mods. Most likely solution is a merge, yeah. To clarify, these are all picture drama specials, right?

@kuroshiroi: No worries, as it wasn't anything urgent. The edits need a couple of tweaks though. "Amagami SS: Sister" should be "Amagami SS: Imouto" with the Japanese as "アマガミSS イモウト" since the series's episode titles always use four katakana characters. The same should go for "Amagami SS+ plus: Onsen" with it being "アマガミSS+ plus オンセン".

Even though the first two aren't specified as picture drama in the official webpage, they are made of still images with audio, which makes them picture dramas.

Edit please...

I personally don't find any problem with this being considered finished, but if the source for this is just a copy/paste of the table on wikipedia, then there is no confirmation that the animation project for this is over, and it hasn't been 18 months since the last episode. If I remember correctly, I don't believe there was any information during the 4-month blank between episode 2 and 3, who knows how long this blank will be.

Recorder to Randoseru

This may have already been mentioned once, but just in case if it wasn't:
I think they differentiate the anime from the manga by adding Do at the end. Yes, the tab title and what comes up on google for the homepage is "Recorder to Randoseru" (TVアニメ「リコーダーとランドセル」)but on just about every other place, from within the same homepage to nicovideo to all broadcast channels, the anime is written as "Recorder to Randoseru Do".

If changing the title isn't suitable, then perhaps adding an alternative, or even just changing the Japanese title to リコーダーとランドセル ド♪ wouldn't be harmful. I remember that in a previous post, the full title for Mayochiki was ignored because no person (or channel in that case) uses or refers to that title, but the title "Recorder to Randoseru Do" is used on just about every official Japanese site/channel.

@ap19: Very fair question and I don't disagree with you. However, given http://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=404233, wiki and the fact that almost 6 months have passed with no new news, I think we're safe. Maybe, possibly, exceptionally.

As for Recorder (aside from how to hell we should spell randoseru: ransel, randsell, etc.) I'll defer to the title reading in the actual episodes for the main titles (i.e. the main stays as is) but I'll add a do synonym. I'll also add a (silent) do note to the kanji, just because I can.

@belatkuro: Pretty much, yeah. I don't have a strong opinion on how to use the character relation but in this case I believe he's not really a cameo character (like Miria and Aizakku in Durarara). Feel free to tell me I'm wrong though, shouldn't be too hard to convince me to remove it :)

@tsubasalover: Fixed. On a sidenote, that anime looks amazing. Will probably be total garbage but also most likely a guilty pleasure.

@arsonal: I actually emptied the gallery. None of those pictures were very good or necessary since the default is pretty awesome.

Well, maybe they look the same and are called the same name but I think the Plue in Rave and the Plue in FT are different characters. One is associated to the Rave stones as a guardian/user or something like that and the other is a Celestial Spirit from the Spirit World. There's nothing said(yet) that they're the same character.
The part with Miria/Isaac cameo in Durarara, and the crossover of Sket Dance/Gintama in one episode of SD, I think that's appropriate as a character relation. On that matter, you should put a character relation as well on Durarara relating it to Baccano if that's the case.
I'm not sure as well how this character relation thing works too.
Carnival Phantasm has it as well.

It seems Chibi☆Devi! has finished at 15 episodes. There isn't a formal announcement in the official webpage, but they always put a next airing on notice, which is absent this time. Also the current story arc ends on episode 15. I think we just have to wait one week to see what airs in its block next week.

If the episode of Bleach that aired on February 21 was episode 361, the final episode on March 27 should be episode 366.

Yurumates (TV) is titled "Yurumates 3D" (ゆるめいつ 3でぃ). Official website is http://www.takeshobo.co.jp/sp/tv_yuru/, with some translation of the details by ANN.

@AndyWorck: Well, I originally approved it for completeness sake, i.e. having all the magic files in your list without the first one seemed weird. We're also going to be rolling out a new guideline that should cover this in the near future, so I won't do anything right away. I'll ask some mods about it though.

@belatkuro: I think I want to have less character relations, so I removed it from Fairy Tail. Carnival's stays though, as that's pretty much the definition of the relation imo. Thanks for the info.

Not sure why you changed the synopsis either. ANN's synopsis was better. dtshyk's may be longer, but it is poorly worded and needs to be edited if you're going to use it.

Naru actually took it from my submission because I didn't notice you made one already. I already slightly edited dtshyk's, which I assume is translated from the Mainichi Shinbun source, but I didn't want to make too many changes to the point where the plot points would give wrong information. I thought ANN's synopsis was too vague, and it's silly to use something like their "a certain incident".

Kind of hard to track vintage dates for something this old, or even what the original release format was, but confirmed it's the same work, with release dates ranging between 1986 and 1988 from what I've found.

I am assuming whichever portions are animated as part of the original release. That should include the OP, intermediate title call, ED, and short PV at the end (if there is one). Usually this varies by a few seconds because US licensors have cut out parts that are not relevant to a non-Japanese airing, such as the "Kono bangumi wa goran no suponsā no teikyō de ōkurishimasu" message. Additionally, some shows will have episodes of varying length, so we'll have to take the approximate average.

@Psajdak: Exactly. It's very likely to happen again.

@nextday: You're absolutely right, should be removed and will be as soon as we post a/the new rule stating that picture drama entries (slideshow anime, visual novel anime etc.) will need to be connected to other anime already in the DB and not just the creators. Fixed the Japanese title and approved it.

@Seiya_Loveless & arsonal: Our source for it appears to be ANN so I'm just going to assume they're wrong and merge it into the old entry and change the number of episodes to 3 and type to OVA. Thanks for the heads up, I did wonder about it when I approved it... fail.

@Newser: Average duration of the longest version, typically. So basically we add the entire runtime together and divide by the number of episodes. The longest version is usually the TV version. Maybe the longest part isn't in the guidelines, might need to add that.

@tsubasalover: Going to ignore that source for Beyblade for now; Non-Japanese sources are rather sketchy at best. No rush.

I also saw that New Metal Fight Beyblade Series, which would follow MFB 4D, would begin April 8, 2012, so that's why I submitted April 1, 2012 for end airing date for MFB 4D.

I didn't see about the new series on the official Beyblade site, though, only about New bey.

I don't know, maybe it's just a head up information.

its same title, origanily was aired as 3 OVAs
It was shown on TV and it is now sold on VHS as 3 eps.
aired at 27.03.1988
English version was aired after, and combined in one feature

Kind of hard to track vintage dates for something this old, or even what the original release format was, but confirmed it's the same work, with release dates ranging between 1986 and 1988 from what I've found.

Taking in consideration a note on Animage 1988/4, Eiga Center Film List and Kanagawa Media Resource Center. This Anime seems to be a movie that was released either on March or April of 1988. Its duration is 78 minutes. It was probably sliced on 3 parts for the VHS release on Russia.

As arsonal said it really hard to find information on old releases like this. Unfortunately I don't have that Animage to confirm the information, so if anyone has it please confirm it.

According to the next issue of Ciao magazine Chibi☆Devi! will resume on April 2nd. This is consistent with the announcement in the official page that the series is re-broadcasting episodes 10 to 15th (from 27/Feb to 26/Mar). So it seems it wasn't over yet. Maybe this could be treated as a second season?
