| I never thought i could get so annoyed at hearing a name like 'akira' - but after this episode, i never want to hear that name again- seriously- whoever wrote the dialogue script for this show needs to be taught variety- or better, just be fired- |

| This was a great episode. Two former friends face each other, and the fight is bitter. Akira has flashbacks of how important Keisuke is to him, Keisuke's downfall is tragic. But Akira saves his friend, and without doctors or any help, has to watch him writhe on the bed in broken flat to let the withdrawal pass. The scenery and colors as usual are a spectacle in this anime, and the music is always good. This anime deserves way more attention than it has. The scene with Rin at the end felt a little out of place- but thankfully he wasn't under the influence of Line, he had finally figured out what the tags meant, and demands Akira's and Keisuke's tags so he can face Il Re. I think they both did right by handing them to him- but should have tried to convince Rin not to face him but to have someone stronger go in his place. But, that's the weakness of this show- if something needs to be said- it doesn't. At least we finally get to see who Il Re is. Almost wondering if it's Arbitro himself, or that slave of his.... would make more sense for it to be Shiki.... |
