That chick is even more retarded then I thought. Why the hell would you protect someone who practically tortured you day in and day out when she could easily snap that dude into two.

When you are beaten by someone and they make your life a living hell you are simply terrified of them. It's true she could easily stop him, but I'm sure from her point of view he is just too powerful a presence for her to do it that easily. Don't ever underestimate the power mental trauma can have.

You remember one piece during the arlong arc

You can't always just act upon something and kill some one when you live in a society of slavery, where royals rule over you. Their is nothing you can do, you have to have a calm collected head, sure revenge is definitely the first thing on your mind. It is pure torture, both physically and mentally to an indivual that goes through this mental manipulation for years, but morgiana knows the repercussions of what would happen if she were to go against those rules and laws of the society she lives in when she is at the bottom of that chain.

Your explanation sucks because there no consequences because of the dungeon.
So yeah, again. Mental drama and fear.
As Aladdin said invisible chains. The chains of fear due to memories of fear.

Now it was that guy's turn to get some background.
I wonder who that teacher was.

Aladdin ready to kickass, still think Morgiana could just beat the dude herself, he's way too weak.

The mystery behind Jamil's backstory moment is the identity of his teacher who seems to know a lot. Still, I can't forgive him for how he treated Morgiana and the other slaves. Also it looks like Aladdin made himself with another magic artifact... unless it worked because of some power he has. Now we'll get to know what being a Magi implies.

As impressive as Alibaba was last chapter, I still have to appreciate Morgiana. Though, in the words of the great Goku; "I think you're much too gifted a fighter to be controlled by a coward."

Look at them, trying to show us backstory for Jamil to humanize him. I hope he dies.

So it was abuse that controls Morgiana, damn. I wasn't sure, because it's a pretty dark theme for a manga like this, but it perfectly makes sense. A fucked up part of our psyche that lets us submit to people who abuse you constantly. Hope she'll snap out of it. It also makes sense for Jamil to be raised like this, rarely are people born evil, but I still wouldn't mind him dying soon, lol. These cocky slaver dudes are one of my most hated character archetypes.

It's very interesting that the dude who raised Jamil seemed to know the future. It's all in line with what's established before, but it makes me wonder how he does know. I still got the theory that the first dungeon was raided by a time travelled Aladdin, it just looked too much like him in that one scene.

And yeah, another power-up for him! Was kind of hoping Alibaba would get a tool in this dungeon but maybe that can still happen.
