| I've given 10s to: -Only Yesterday (Omohide Poro Poro) A true masterpiece. -Neon Genesis Evangelion: End of Evangelion A movie that demonstrates what animation is capable of. -Mind Game Artistic shit is spewing out, you better watch out. -La Maison En Petit Cubes The first anime that made me cry like a baby - and I haven't done that since I was a baby. |

| I have quite a few favorites: Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann Elfen Lied The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi (the original season) - I always end up rewatching this at least once a year. Clannad: Another World, Tomoyo Chapter - The original series was meh, but this OVA really got to me. Yeah, I admit it. I cried. Toradora! - My all-time favorite romance series :) Hellsing Ultimate - It's much too epic and well-done to be given a lower score. I've also already given the Disappearance of Suzumiya Haruhi movie a 10, even though I haven't watched it yet. :) |

| I don't really break down my 10s into the categories you listed. I ask one question, did the anime do what it tried to do? If an anime tried to be a comedy slice-of-life for example, did it succeed and how well did it succeed. That's what I am looking for when I rate. I think Azumanga Daioh and Minami-ke both succeeded as comedy slice-of-life animes, so I gave them both 10s. |
