Since it was quite uncommon for anime title from the likes of Yorimoi's genre to be included in this global audience-catering kind of article. | This was unreal to me. I love the show to death, it became my favorite anime and I wanted it to get recognition, but honestly I thought the best it would ever get is maybe AOTY in Crunchyroll's awards thing they do. Not that it would be recognized by a world renowned newspaper and listed as one of the best shows of 2018. While it doesn't really mean anything, it still makes me happy to see it get the recognition. Also need to rewatch now because seeing this made me excited again. |

| Very great news. This series deserved it. I hope Yorimoi at least become AOTY nomination in Crunchyroll's Awards or another anime awards (and the fact that this is one of Crunchyroll's produced anime) There is no other anime that i always recommend to my friends than this series. Character, storytelling, soundtrack and music are awesome. Need to rewatch again  |

| Despite what the author says, I still think it's a show "with a pretty specific audience" but if this article brings some more people to get in touch with what's best in anime nowadays, "Sora yori ..." is definitively a great choice as a stand alone season (and THE best choice for 2018 if I look at my own anime list). |

| This Legit Surprissed me. I know its not gonna win but It was Nominated. Thats way better than other shows in the last 5 years. Sora Yori deserves it Honestly. Maybe its not the best show of the year but it is the best CGDCT show of this year. |
