| I was waiting for a prisoner from the moon! But I guess that's not happening lol. Anyway, I remember watching Baki the Grappler as the show's name here in the Philippines where it aired for a while back in early 2000's. I don't remember this being so bloody though they might have censored it back then. And if I remember correctly Baki's greatest enemy is his own father with a long badass red hair and ridiculous muscles and he's not here instead we have these escaped deathrow prisoners. Is this a spinoff or something? I'm gonna watch it all the way though cause it's in Netflix so downloading is easy. .. |

You Must watch baki 2001 Before baki 2018 Thanks... I think I will. With all the remakes coming out lately I think I just assumed this was another one. Now I see that this is a later (unaired) arc in the Baki story. |
| I was expecting people skipped Baki's prequel and straight to this 3rd series I didn't get disappointed xD It's nice of them to kinda re-introduced characters and recap the story They don't need probably, new people probably won't watch this.. they just prefer watching harem isekai Reality is sad :( I guess Doyle.. Threw away his humanity! DIO! Oh wai- I like the prisoners reveal, it's like hyping up the inevitable I hope the OGRE will make his appearance soon, 1v5 please xD |

| I have a general understanding of the previous seasons of Baki, but this has exceeded my expectations for the first episode. It reminds me of a less queer version of "JoJo's Bizarre Adventures" or should I say all of JoJo prior to the end of its second season in 2013 |

| Damn animation looks pretty sick also the way those five prisoners escaped was pretty incredible I guess those five prisoners just have to meet Yujiro if they want to know defeat |

| Well they sure turned up the violence compared to the previous seasons. Was the manga always gory and they just censored it in the first two seasons or did the mangaka step up the violence with this arc? The show definitely looks up to date but it's a shame they spent the whole first episode with a bunch of character intros. I guess they heard about Baki's victory in the tournament so they escaped to face the champion. |

| This is pretty much my first exposure to Baki aside from a few rather unusual pages from the manga and I'm really liking it so far. The unusual concept and premise in addition to the brutality are things that I'm craving for as of now~ I might not know much about the series but my eyes definitely perked up when the glycerin synchronicity incident was mentioned and applied here since that's something that I've learned about in the Zero Escape game series. To call those prisoners superhumans is probably a huge understatement. I can't wait to see how Baki will be able to beat them soon! |

| This was an interesting episode. I started without reading anything about it. I thought this would be like wrestling tournament sports kinda vibe. |
| It feels weird seeing Baki in HD. I feel like they went from absurdly strong to supernaturally Mortal Kombat strong with this season. |
| Feels weird to see the animation like that directly after the 2001 S2, But nice start to S3 with all the hardcore prisoners escaping and coming to fight in Tokyo ahah |
