Never. I feel nothing. I'm basically dead inside.

And theeeeen there's Grave of the Fireflies.
I can't watch that shit. The name Setsuko alone is enough to send me into a near catatonic state. Oh God, here come the flashbacks...

It's rare with new anime I watch. With previous ones that I liked, it was pretty frequent tbh

I have quite a generic answer but if the character’s struggle is relatable or so well written that I can sympathise with it then any anime can hit me there. Im not the type to nitpick either so to keepcit relevent for the sequels this season, be it Kaneki or Issei, as long as the anime puts in the work I will have the feels.

Yeah no. If you don't feel like that, if you aren't emotionally invested in the anime in some way, then you aren't really experiencing it or it's just not high-quality.

Depends on the type of anime and the amount of investment the anime has put into characters, but with most thriller animes, yes

Made in Abyss really got me. A Place Further than the Universe was a good emotional ride too.

But even more generally, yeah. I feel like often times hits even harder than live action movies or other tv shows.

3-gatsu no lion is pretty much an emotional rollercoaster, literally the best in the last decade.

I'm glad to know that you can feel. It's good to be a human.

I don't see much of a reason to watch Anime if it didn't spark some sort of emotion.

Yes, cried at the end of original NGE, at HxH, at Tokyo Magnitude 8.0.
One of the reasons I watch anime (or anything) is for the feels, it's very important.

The ending of Aria the Origination fucked my feelings up pretty hard.. in a good way!

I felt like a Proud Dad watching his daughters get their Degrees on the day of their Graduation Ceremony..

Soo satisfying.. so much tears lol

Although I mostly haven't felt feelings while watching anime, Made in Abyss hit me in the exact spot where it hurts.
