But I'm scared that they won't be able to fully bring out this series potential if it'll only have 12 episodes. It might probably have enough material for a 2 cour. But than a second season might not be a possibility.
It's a JUMP series. Pretty sure it will be 2-cour just like AssClass, HQ!! and Souma. And it will probably get another season if the manga sales were boosted high enough, which I'm pretty sure of, given it's timeslot and how mainstream it is.
Don't know those series, unless by 'Souma' you mean Shokugeki no Souma.
And what's a JUMP series?
I made a mistake there, I thought if the manga was turned into a 2 cour we'd probably have to wait some time before there's enough material for a 2nd season.
Anyway I am really looking forward to it, sadly the manga didn't attract me until the latter arcs, that's why I'm hoping that the anime will adapt as much as possible.
Yeah, I meant Shokugeki no Souma. Looks like you're pretty new to anime/manga terms. When I said JUMP series, it means that it's serialized in Weekly Shounen Jump magazine which is a popular magazine and that's where most of the big shounen series came from like One Piece, Naruto and Bleach. Usually most of their adaptations are long-running and full of fillers but recently, there've been a trend of them being made into 2-cour per season instead just like the ones I mentioned above. And they don't really care about BD/DVD sales as long as the manga is selling well (all 3 that I mentioned got 2nd seasons even though the BD/DVD sales for 2 of them are not that good). For a weekly manga, 1.5 year is enough materials for each 2-cour season and that's pretty much the common gap between each anime season.
Oh I know that magazine. Didn't know 'Jump Series' was a term though.
Yeah I took the 2-3 manga chapters for 1 episode and so it should be just enough for a 2-cour right.
Oh lol, AssClass must be Assassination Classroom, than what does HQ stand for?
Well that's odd, didn't expect them to make an anime when it probably won't even do well.
But I guess if it boosts the manga sales it's logical.
