| The Bureau is fucked up. And that feeling might not be impressed on us as much if it wasn't for the non-linear storytelling. The show's a little messy, but that isn't a bad thing and it's probably purposeful, as this seems like the kind of thing that makes more sense as it goes along. At least, there is the feeling that everything is integral even if it doesn't seem like it at the time. In any case, this is like the anti-thesis of boring. Also, the constant use of student protests is pretty interesting. Especially at the end, when the 'peace' group explodes in cheers of destruction. Everyone knows what those types of young people really want to see, chaos that destroys a world they don't understand. |
