Well, even if she only appear 30s max. Did some people say "1st love is hard to forget" ? Also, because of his past with Athena, in the anime we also see that Hayate said he doesn't have any right to have a girlfriend because he doesn't have money to support a girl. From that quote we can assume that Hayate is still have some feeling for her. Also from the show we can also see some of short scene of Hayate memories regarding Athena. Even for someone who doesn't read the manga. I think it's worth enough to put Athena in the poll. |

| Im supporting Hinagiku =) Hayate rejected Ayumu a long time ago, and the Hayate treats Nagi like a younger sister. Besides, this was mentioned many times in the anime, Hayate thinks that Nagi is a little kid. Hinagiku and Maria are around his age too, but Hinagiku's soooo cool. Just look at her when she sings ''A Cruel Angel's Thesis''. <3 Hina-chan ! |

| I really want for him to end up with Hina but facing a harsh reality of anime it would be the main guy gets the main girl or it could end the corny way. >.> Athena's also awesome because I also read the manga but still Hinagiku is my girl so I won't change the ship for this. For me it would be the possible pairings go like this 1. Hinagiku 2. Athena 3. Maria 4. Nagi not including Hamster. By the way who is Izumu? Or it should be Izumi? xD |

I say HELL NO!!To NagixHayate its just to clishe and First off hayate wont marry her simply becuz first off up till this point as far as I have seen THere no sligthest bit of even hint in Haytes part to show tht he see nagi in that Light.Beside Lil girls fall in love(CRUSH) with there cool butlers all the time spoiler>>>>>>>>>>>>>>KlausXNagi's Mom>>>>>>>>> but they are just give it more of a humor touch. The main Candidates are Maria , Hinagiku . Athena (I dont consider other as worthy candidates). For me Anime Couple are very important and it causes me alot of Distress(especially watchin Harem anime ).Reasons all of these a strong candidates: 1)Maria Chan though is slightly older(1year who cares) she and hayate have good chemistry and form a very strong + u have the MaidXButler Flag.Plus I wud Like to say this and am admant on this note that Hayate will always be a Sanzein Butler.So If Hayate ends up with Maria everything will be perfect cuz in terms to family figures its quite clear tht Hayate is the Dad , Maria the Mom and Nagi the Spoiled adorable chld.Also as Nagi fears tht oneday Maria will fall in love and leave her if She ends up with Hayate then Tht problem is no more and they can live together forever or for aslong as Nagi wants. 2)Hinagiku: Has a Lot in common with Hayate in terms of Parents abandoning etc.Plus I just Love how much she loves Hayate :P.they also make a very cute couple ^^............. and thts it I knw Its not Much I just love it. 3)Athena: MOst recent addition to my Hayate candidate list , I just love how much loves Hayate in terms of past preasent and future , past they practically made out like crazy(on which I am cuious as to where the hell she learned tht frm??) she care for hayate so much and Hayate loves her to.I want them to end up together but somehow I just cant come up with a logically scenerio in which they can be together anytime soon(Am open for suggestions am beggin plz I want to see a hope).Also ...... I just love her cuteness A-Tan FOR THE WIN!!!.=3 Well bottom Line If any of these 3 get to be with Hayate I wud atleast be satisfied to an extent , I can only pray for now I guess. | the anime and manga is harem genre and hayate usually will not end up with anyone since if he end up with a female character,the manga/story will finish since hayate no gotoku is emphasizing plot based on harem.But if you want me to choose,I think he will end up with Nagi since she is the main female character. |

| hmm I always had the notion Hayate was the main character -____- aww well , I still dnt think Nagi will end up with Hayate , nothin has happened tht even suggests tht Hayate will end with Nagi and lately I have noticed Nagi isnt cating all lovey Dovey aswell -____- but thts just my opinion |

| As much as people seem to like Athena (and for good reason, i think shes an awesome character also) i highly doubt that she will be the one he ends up with, because for those who have read far enough into the manga you will see that she practically won the "harem" and decided not to take the prize and leave it for whoever comes in second, while feelings were still indicated since she wore his ring i highly doubt it, so i can see the "giving the people what they want" by pairing him with Hinagiku or the corny i will protect you to repay my debt, because i honestly don't believe they would ever officially pair him with Nagi, if the author wanted Nagi to "win" than the corny way is probably the way he will go, but that's just speculation. Personally i wouldn't have minded either Hinagiku or Athena (all thought i do think Hinagiku is more suited due to her similarities outweighing childhood love at least in my mind), since Athena is likely out (and not even an option on this poll) Hinagiku gets my vote. |
