Why is it that Nordic anime fans seem to be tougher in giving ratings than North Americans? You've given one of the harshest scores I've seen for Durarara!!, but I can see how it's not everyone's cup of tea since it starts and ends quite weakly. You're even more disappointed by Air than I was! I'm surprised you'd give a show like Green Green a 9/10, though, since I haven't heard too many good things about it. Also, no 1/10 for Pokemon, which earns you my respect. I haven't seen anything in your PTW that I would whole-heartedly recommend, but you haven't seen the Clannad OVAs yet, so maybe you should give them a try sometime. |

Mushishi - is more of an experience than an anime. I wouldn't ever think of an anime like this in a million years but somehow it works so damn well. HnY - is what got me hooked on anime. Bleach (years before it got localized) got me started, but HnY got me hooked. Episode 12 is all anyone needs to know. Clannad AS - wrist slittingly depressing drama :) People love it coz they love to cry like babies for hours after finishing their anime. Heh well its on my ptw and on hold b/c of that reason. Don't feel like jumping out of my 3rd story window after finishing this at the moment. TTGL - Not enough love for the girls of this series. Yoko gets thrown in the back after a few episodes despite her being the cover girl of this show and what drives ALL non-DVD/BR sales. But then again, out of the 50 people who say they love this show, there is only 4 (out of that 50) that reference Quentin Tarantino. So its obvious that they don't know completely the inner workings of a reverse chronology movie/anime. It requires alot of implied thinking and thinking out of the box. Another good example of implied thinking would be Spicy Wolf 1 and 2. Not everything needs to be explained, it should just be known. Eve no Jikan - i put on my 10's b/c its just way too epic of an ona not to give it a10. The characters, character progress, the ideology, the universe, the ARTWORK. Everything about it screams quality. I remember I was watching an episode in standard resolution and I could have sworn it was an HD rip, but it was only a 700x420 reso. Then i realized wow this is hella beautiful. It tells a really great story and putting the watchers as Rikuo or Masaki (love or hate robots respectively) really brought me into the anime with all the point of view shots and lots of internal dialog between the two. Just so much to talk about this short series but I cant fit all here :( Yes i'm a Dorikei... NEKO daiyo! Arakawa - Effing love it! When you think you know whats going to happen next, something completely opposite happens! They make the story around the characters evolve perfectly. Each new revelation always brought laughing to tears or gasping in amazement. Episode 8 comes to mind. The rest of your titles ill try to put my thoughts in one sentence. Haruhi-Chan - Freaking hilarious! Putting Yuki as a hentai loving gamer is just too fantastic! Pokemon 3 - never seen 3 i stopped at 2 :( Toradora - MINORIN!! I CHOOSE YOU! Poor poor Minorin... Before a 7.3 was the site average now its 7.8 People still rate waay too high :) Your ON-HOLD is probably the best on hold list i have ever seen. Simply for the fact that you have LoGH on HOLD ^_^ you get an automatic 10 from me. Although, Chi's sweet home is a good anime to fall asleep to since the episodes are less than 4 minutes. Cyborg 009 - Wow where did you find this? I must get it! Unless you downloaded the 1973 version like i did and it stops at ep 3. I'm a fan of this series. Tokyo Magnitude looked like something that I might enjoy... we'll see. Dropped: Pokemon DP - You dont like the female main character?!?!? :( I liked her over ash. Still cant find any downloads for this. Heroman - is classic saturday morning cartoon at its best! If you're not born in the 1980's then you wont understand and i understand your dropped status. Paranoia Agent - Very trippy and epic anime from Satoshi Kon! Its a very Seinen anime. But if you're willing to stomach through IGPX, you should finish this. Srsly. Seikon no Qwaser - anyone who has a phobia of boobs can't watch this. Youre not afraid of boobs are you? ;) j/k Air - was pretty boring but the final episode will definitely let you slit your wrists. | @ PseudoJordan Off the bat I hve to say that I really love your anime list design. It has a simple yet elegant style to it, that just looks like it goes together like bread and butter. You are watching some pretty cool shows, such as "K-ON!, Fairytale and Kobato". Also Highschool of the Dead" which I haven't seen yet, is said to be really good. I can see that you seem to be quite the Aria fan, but you have given them different scores so I can tell you are in no way biased on it. :) |

Great picks to watch. Some of the others.. I'm not so fond of. There was an SD Gundam airing? What? Completed - YES, Witchblade is a 10.. and no, how is Haruhi and Canaan a 10? Lots of scores I agree with and then some not, but generally decent tastes. On Hold - W-Why is Gankutsuou on-hold? Dropped - Agree with all of these anime. | Nice background firstly , if I knew how to do it I would also do it :p Watching - Some good animes I plan to watch there (katekyo hitman reborn, highschool of the death, K-on) but why watch yu-gi-oh original if you watched the duel monsters variant (isnt that the same?) Completed - You agree with some of the ratings on mal like baccano ( a higfh ranked one) you ranked a 10 but you are not drawn back to rate a series a 1 so I must con gralate you to watch it till the end altough you hate it. Baka to test a 6? I seriously loved that anime (I must not forget to rate my latest completeds :p) for the resty alot of animes I haven't watched yet. On Hold - some nice animes on hold (D. grayman (watched some amvs)) but why place an anime you haven't started yet on-hold? | Anime compatibility with supersayen is: Very High 82.8% Anime You Share (31) Currently Watching: Lots of recognisable stuff, and all airing. Interesting, there must not be a single day of the week where you don't have a new episode XD Completed: Whoo for low scoring on Akane-iro ni Somaru Saka. Seriously, what an absoloute waste of time. I had some hopes for that series too since I like Yuuhi's design before I actually watched the series *Sigh* Angel Beats! is something I personally seemed to have enjoyed more then you, but I can definitely see why it would have gotten the score it did. Kind of surprising to see both Code Geass with a 10. Nothing else really noting since your scores seem fair, but you really seem to dislike series with a lot of fanservice (With the exception of some, like B Gata H Kei, but that was freaking hilarious). Good on ya :3 On Hold: You should definitely continue Clannad ~ After Story, it was something I thoroughly enjoyed. I see a lot of decent series on there, but I would recommend C~AS first, then maybe Spice and Wolf next. They are all series that are quite popular though, and should be watched. Dropped: Why would you drop something 2 episodes from the ending? It's just so close to the end, I don't see why you wouldn't just finish. I'm surprised I didn't drop FLCL myself, that was such a waste. Overrated as heck and there's nothing really redeeming about it other then the animation. Plan to Watch: From your list, I would say you would maybe like ef - A Tale Of Memories so I would say watch that one for sure. Lovely Complex is great if you're looking for a comedy, one of the few series that had me laughing out loud consistently. The Higurashi series is extremely overrated, in my opinion (Rena was the reason it got as high of a rating from me as it did). But yeah, all the series on there look good, nothing I noticed that popped and said "Steer away, I suck!". |

I can't help but wonder, "did they just not get it?" Most of it just will not, under any circumstances, make any remote sense whatsoever. You just have to accept that, and the important bits should come to you. Edit: Also, having looked at your plan to watch, get on with watching H2O ~ Footprints in the Sand! From what I've seen, I really think you'll like it. It's an amazing anime. Edit 2: So I slightly missed the point of the thread. Oh well. This works, right? |

Watching: Really happy to see Natsume and Paranoia Agent on here. While I've chosen to follow Natsume as a manga, I still think it's just a fun series, and reminds me a lot of Mushishi- but less calm. And I adored Paranoia Agent, but my tastes run towards that genre of anime ^.^" Completed: A lot of good anime on this list- a few that I'm hoping to see soon, a few that I'm watching right now. I thin I completely agree with your rating of Canaan, which I'm watching right now. PTW: Aw, man, some great titles on there! I'm not sure if you'll care for Escaflowne since you didn't seem to care for FMP!, but since it also show similarities to 5 Cm per Second, it has a shot of being decent in your book. I also really want to see what you think of TM 8.0- I have to say, I didn't love it after the first episode, but after the third you see the sister starting to change a bit. I actually cried at the end, but that may be because I'm an older sister myself and could sympathize. On-Hold: I can see why you'd have GitS:SAC 2nd Gig on hold- it seems to drag on more than the previous season, and the politics get deeper and more involved. Perhaps too much. But the longer you wait to finish, the more confused you might be when you pick it back up, if you choose to. Dropped: I haven't seen any of these, but it looks like they just couldn't hold your interest. It was interesting to note you kept the original bakground- but considering how hard- if not impossible- it is to read some people's lists because they have the same-color text as the background, I didn't mind at all! |

| Sweetpea Watching: Almost completed Canaan. I really lked it. The first episode itself was already full of actions and after the last episode, I wished there was more. Denpateki na Kanojo interests me, but I never started since it seems to be ongoing forever. Looks like you're one of the majority who loves Drrr. Hellsing Ultimate is awesome. Completed: You dish out lots of 10's. Most of your scores are in the range of 7-10. A few low scores though. We watch different anime. On-hold: I found Blood+ good at first but then it just got predictable and weary. The same old typical dialogues. Characters pissed the hell out of me especially Saya and her elder brother Kai (if that's the name). The 50 episodes felt draggy to me. One Outs is awesome. I really liked Lucky Star though I didn't quite expect to. Toradora- liked it but didn't expect to as well. Dropped: Death Note... dropping it when you rated it a 10? Hakuoki was fucking horrible and they're gonna have a second season.. Shakugan no Shana, yeah that was bad too, after the first 5 or 6 eps. PTW: Damn long list. |

| @ Retro8bit Compatability: 75.3% High (26 Shared Anime) Not a lot of difference in our scoring, the only glaring differences being FLCL and the Pokemon movies. Also, I'm somewhat surprised to see someone that doesn't instantly dismiss hentai as 2 and 3 material. Background: Cute. Makes me wish K-ON!! would hurry up and finish so I can get started on it. Watching: I'm slightly ashamed that I've only heard of about half of these. I should really progress further into the Shana storyline. I've seen the first season and enjoyed it, but I haven't bothered to check out anything else in the series. Completed: Jesus, so many freaking entries. I mean, I know a lot of them are movies, OVAs, and other "one-shot" deals, but I'm still pretty intimidated by the sheer numbers. On-Hold: I'm reminded of several series I once had at least a slight interest in back in the day but apparently forgot about. Also, you need to go finish Rozen Maiden: Traumend GO DO IT Dropped: Definitely agree with you on .hack//SIGN. I can't stand that much talking unless it's full of humor. Despite liking Big O, I think I can see why people could find it mediocre. Plan To Watch: I actually plan on watching Dance in the Vampire Bund soon. Should I anticipate much blood and DFC? | @chris51392 Shared Anime: 17 Compatibility: 71.3% Watching: I'm also watching Bleach episodes here and there. It's not a masterpiece, but that's mostly because of the fillers. There's a noticable decrease in story and quality. Lol. I really love a lot of the characters though, and been meaning to read the manga because I know it's much better. I haven't seen the others, but I want to see Last Exile and Brotherhood. Completed: Wow, besides Samurai Champloo, there's nothing we rated more than one number difference. o.O Lol. We seem to have a lot of the same tastes, and we both have Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann on our favorites. ^^ EDIT:: We also both have Simon on our favorite characters. I think he's the best, most developed character I've encountered. A lot of people comment on how Kamina's better, and though he's great, I like Simon more. On-Hold: Elfen Lied only gets worse, gore-wise, after episode two. So maybe it's not the series for you. I also suggest picking Samurai Champloo back up. It's one of my favorites and I gave it a ten. =p Dropped: All of your dropped make sense... although... poor Pokemon. ='[ Haha! Just kidding. I'm watching it right now and am on episode 197. I love it almost as much as I did when I was a kid, but I know it's not that good. xp Plan To Watch: I'd suggest watching Baccano, it is my favorite anime ever. A lot of people don't like it because they find it confusing or they don't like some of the gore, but I find it spectacular in every aspect. Lol. Though, if you do watch it make sure you watch the Baccano! Specials, they are a direct continuation of the stories. |

| Onibokusu Watching: The controversial School Days.. For someone whose completed list is reasonably large, I expected SD to have been there as well. Completed: You're quite generous with your ratings. Initial D is awesome, though the same scores for First and Second Stage are the same just aren't the same as mine. I personally felt that First Stage was really superb and the Second couldn't measure up to it. Seems you enjoyed the OVA of Lucky Star more than the series itself. Dropped: The second season of Haruhi was good, minus the stupid Endless Eight. |

| Seems you just joined a few days ago, but such specific dates! Wow. Watching: Straight off the bat, it's clear that you're a shounen fan, specifically of the action genre. Personally, the only series that I would consider watching (or watch again) would be Sengoku Basara or Yuyu Hakusho. But having an interest in long running anime is good, since you'll be entertained for a longer period of time. Completed: More shounen with the exception of Sailor Moon. You seem to like a lot of the classics as well. Any reasons why you don't like to score the shows you watch? Plan to Watch: Not sure what to recommend to you since you pretty much have the entire genre's big names covered. I think Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann might be a recent show that you'd be interested in. |

You rate quite low and aren't afraid to rate something a 2 or a 3, which is good. It is also noteworthy that you haven't yet rated anything a 10. I also like that you write in the tag section how you feel about each anime that you've watched; they are interesting to read. Like our high compatibility suggests, most of our scores are within 1 or 2 points of each other. I definitely agree with you that Hunter x Hunter is one of the better shounen anime out there. However, I'm not quite as high on Blood+ as you are because I thought it's pacing overall was poor. You don't watch that many anime at the same time but you are watching the mainstream shounen anime (Naruto Shippuden, Bleach, and Fairy Tail). And I also like the fact that you don't rate anything until you have completed it. |

Although, I've only seen the first twenty episodes of the first Naruto. I'm not a big fan, so I'll probably never end up watching Shippuuden. But you seem to like it. =] I'll also probably never watch Rosario+Vampire. I know someone who watched it and said the first season was hard to get through because it was like the same episode throughout the whol series. Completed: Wow. You like everything, huh? No bad ratings. The only thing I've seen on there is Zero no Tsukaima, and I did enjoy it. In my opinion, it wasn't a ten, but it was good none-the-less. Half of those are on my Plan To Watch, but none of them I'm dying to see, except maybe Hakuouki. You also seem to watch mostly animes that have a big romantic element, except for a few. On-Hold: Not too big a fan of the brother/sister pairing love pairings, so I don't see myself watching this. Dropped: Clannad? Everyone I know seems to love it, though I haven't seen it myself, and you yourself gave it a seven. So I'm kinda curious why you dropped it. Plan To Watch: Only one on Plan To Watch?! I have more than 300 animes on Plan To Watch. Lol. Although I've heard good things about Rumbling Hearts, but have avoided it myself because, I believe, it has a sad ending. I'm a sucker for happy endings. xp The only thing I really disagree with, is that you rate anime before you are finished with it. It's something that really bugs me, though a lot of people do it. Just a little pet peeve of mine. =p |

Shared animes: 21 Watching: You are watching the 3rd season of Black Lagoon, I really want to see it, as soon as possible, Black Lagoon is one of the action animes I most like, plus Rock is a translator (the same as I want to be xD). About Darker Than Black, I might watch it someday, but right now I have other priorities. Completed: I see you have watched some animes I still have to see, for example Cowboy Bebop and Clannad =) I'm sorry but I rated FLCL just with a 3, but I will rewatch it, so maybe I make up my mind after rewatching it. On the other hand you rated Suzumiya Haruhi just with a 5 ^^U But we also have similar ratings in some animes, for example, Baccano, Akira, Spirited Away, Higurashi no naku koro ni or... School Days xDDDD (I guess it must be one of the most hated animes ever xD) In general I like your list, because we coincide in a lot of animes =) |

It's a little surprising to see someone who has yet to watch the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya; I hope you like it! The first season is one of my favorites. Completed: Whoa, the fact that you've seen every DBZ movie kind of blows me away. You've seen a lot of anime that I want to see and a lot of what I have seen. I think we feel the same way about several animes, but I just rate pretty high in general. I was surprised you rated Code Geass R2 lower than the first season, though. On-Hold: Several shoujos, it seems. I always find it hard to get into one of these in general, so I know how it is. Dropped: Hmm, although I loved Azumanga, I can see how you dropped it at the beginning. But even Samurai Champloo? To each's own, I suppose. Few that aren't are Cowboy bebop and Eva, but meh lol. On Hold: Elfen Lied is on my hold list too. Just don't care to watch it. You should finish Champloo though, it's a good show. Reminds me to actually start watching HOTD to actually see how horrid/awesome it really is.... Completed: Agreed on a few, but I'm more generous. It also reinforces my faith to no see KissxSis. Seems to be composed of comedy romance or action. On Hold: Gintama is over 200 episodes long, so it's understandable that it's on hold. Probably should finish Sora no Woto, but scrap the shit out of Elfen Lied if you don't like open endings, and finish it with the manga. Dropped: Good job dropping Naruto and Maria Holic. Plan to Watch: Nasagarete Airantou might not be your idea of a good anime. Recommends Valkyria Chronicles if you want action and drama. Spice and Wolf is awesome, but only if you can understand whats going on. |
