I was wondering if anyone knew how to clean plushy's I have all these anime plushys that i just found and there either starting to get dusty or there well dirty from the dust What is the best way to wash them some i can use a lint roller to clean but others the dust has stained there faces or there white costumes so what would be the best way i dont think stain remover will work so much.

:) i thought this be a great subject to bring up for most of us who tend to buy tons of plushys.

hmm..a washing machine might damage it..soo, i would suggest one of those sticky rollers and it may sound funny, but beating them might also shake off some of the dust lol

Then dry clean it.

I guess most of you are still children so you would not know that plushies do not suffer when they go to their bath.

Here's a getto way I do it for mines. It's a bit dangerous for small childcare, you self, and the plushies though: you take a small electric fan, four blades is what I use, more would be better, and you take off one side of the protective grill thingy around the fan. Now, yo ugot to take off teh side that sucks in teh air, not the side that blows air forward/out. Put the fan on high/max and put the plushies as close to the fan with out touching the blades, cause thats about the most annoying way to get rid of a doll. Anyways, the vacuum from the fan should suck the dust off. Using a actual vacuum might not work unless you can adjust the suction, and even then, teh vacuum might still have to much power. use teh fan. Or, use duct tape.

I've looked up for some cheat codes, but most of them involve finding some kind of herbal items, and none of them really maxes out stats or gives invincibility."

I throw mine in the washing machine. Never had any damage occur even on a normal wash and fast spin dry. Most washing machines should have more gentle wash options if you're worried. I do a bunch at a time though, so it's not like it's just one or two plushies rattling around in the machine.

If they're the kind of anime plushies that are made with felt and have bits glued onto them then I definitely wouldn't put them in the washing machine. It would most likely ruin them.

You could try sponging them with a damp cloth if there's just a bit of dirt. Although if they're really dirty that might just make it worse so I'd suggest doing what noevie said and hand wash them.

You could always use an old tooth brush and scrub them by hand with cold water and laundry soap...Let them dry in the sun, or throw them in the washer if they're not too delicate ^^;

i'm 22? and i have no problem throwing them into the washer but most of them have hard parts or things glued to them so it might not dry or it might get damaged in the wash. That is why i made this topic. T_T

Sad to say, I only have one plushie in total. I would imagine a washing machine may be too harsh on it, unless you do it on delicate. Maybe try cleaning it manually. Depending on how bad it is though.

Don't put them in the washing machine. That ofcourse will ruin their quality.

But it's probably a little late to solve the problem now since you're meant to clean them when they begin to gather dust rather than once they're covered. I think the best bet is to wash them down with wipes, or something?

But most definitely don't use the washing machine unless you want them to be ruined.

Oh god...the washing machine would mangle them.

I always hand wash mine. Then I wouldn't have to worry about drowning them. I view it as a bath.
