1. It was interesting. I can't say I cared for the group stage as someone who follows along vote-wise, but it was an interesting experiment. As for the podium, I guess I can't complain too much since we got a shoujo and an LGBT couple on there but silver is really the only one I care for to be up there on its own merits...

2. for the purposes of this, I'm not counting me x Hanekawa :JosukeLaugh: Honestly, I think it might actually be ShinjixKaworu, which is fucking nutty

3. see above It's a shame I didn't have room for Yukino x Soichiro. Idk if I'd say that's the most underrated ever, it's a shoujo classic and The Guy From Evangelion directed it, so I'm sure a lot of people know about it compared to literally everything in the Obscure War except the video games like Guilty Gear, Street Fighter, and Uma Musume, but I doubt it would've done very well if I did nominate it...

EDIT: I will say in general though, we need more romances where the straight-laced, meganekko class representative wins :relieved:

Yukino does well solo, I just don't know how far the couple would make it, especially since I nominated Soichiro in a husbando tournament outside of Mink's competitions and he got smashed into the dirt by James from Pokemon of all people

I don't have much to say about the results, despite being the deciding vote for both pairs :) I factored in quite a few things before I voted, but ultimately, I don't really know (or care too much) about any of these pairs in the finals. It wasn't a random choice by any means, but it wasn't a deeply personal meaningful choice either. So, I'm fine with the results, I guess?

Yeah, it was my favorite out of the current side ones :) but I didn't like that all the pairs I cared about and/or knew were out.


I don't really think in terms like that, but I do feel like Shaoran x Sakura from Cardcaptor Sakura is the pairing I adore so much that they could qualify as an OTP.


In this competition or in general? I have no idea. I consider one of my pairs, Ugetsu Murata x Mafuyu Satou from Given, to fall into the underrated category, and I think there is a lot of potential for an even deeper bond there that could've easily transformed into a romantic relationship if the circumstances were different.

Good idea :) there are some characters that I wouldn't nominate in the regular Husbando War, but they'd fit perfectly into the shota one.
